*EDIT: At 1:45 - Copper/Brass Rivets feature a solid Brass mandrel and Copper/Copper Rivets feature a copper plated mandrel. We're very sorry for the confusion.
I have 7 screw holes under waterline of my transom on my aluminum boat. I know they say silicone or 3m 5200 will work. But can I drill these holes out to 3/16 and install pop end rivets for permanent fix?
great video! just a comment: to remove rivet (don't have to drill it out) just take used mandrill and hammer the old mandril out. saw that on THE WIZARD (car Mecanic) youtube channel.
Hey, I’ve been looking for a video to properly show and explain the way the rivet mechanism works so firstly, Thank you. I do have a question though; I need to fit together some blades that need to be able to move freely. Would you recommend rivets? Or could you point me in the direction of something that would give me what I’m looking for. Thank you. Best wishes
@@AlbanyCountyFasteners I wanted to get one of those gauges, too, but they wanted $50 for shipping! I nearly passed out! Needless to say, they can keep their gauge!

Thank you for your clarification. He does have a pronounced Uzbekistan accent but I accept your explanation, it’s still very confusing. Maybe subtitles would be of help.

Our fastener specialist, Bob, is from New York State and has never been to Canada.
