I know it's late to the thread, but did you notice any drop in water pressure? I have that issue and disconnected mine. I can't figure out a way to get it back to normal pressure
I installed 3 for a client and tomorrow I will removing them.I get notifications that they come on but the client says they are not working and wants them replaced. I will be testing them at home to see what's wrong.

No I didn't notice any drop in mine. Is it low pressure even though you have water open all the way ?

How deep do you have to put the lines? Does it drain good so it doesn't freeze in Midwest winters?

Yes as long as you have internet access on your phone and your timer is connected to wifi you should be able to controll from any where.
