I'm absolutely obsessed with how beautifully and gracefully the characters move. The animators did a great job :) I'm not Russian but I also really appreciate Vassilissa's dress and this story has a nice message :)

It's a shame he didn't appreciate her more, but I s'pose in fairness, I might be embarrassed to date a frog too, especially if everyone was teasing me about it 🤣 She was very sweet and understanding about it all though.💓
Don’t know why people hate the English version of the song, the Russian one is still good but I like this one too. It’s soft and melodic, it matches the beautiful animation of the scene.
I never understoond why burning her frog skin made her a slave to the villiain .. He never mentioned this when he cursed her ..and also why when she came to the ball there where those thunderbolts.. ?
Whoever dubbed the animation with English music knew their audience. Disney animated musicals are popular in the West. This dubbing definitely falls in that mold. This film made me search for the original Russian version. While beautiful, I prefer the music in the English dubbing.

He said she had to stay a frog for three years and three days, but she only lasted for three years.
How dared they, they replaced the russian song, if you can get to hear them they're so awesome and beautiful.
