Thank you for sharing your experience during this rebuild. I have the same cart so you are helping me with my project. I did notice a difference in this video from the others ... you don't talk. I like the other videos a little better cause I like hearing what you are thinking and it confirms that I am on the same page with you. Anyway thank you so much for putting these out there
Great Video, clear and great focus and detail showing parts, which is often missing from DIY vids. I was looking for this exact same video for a 70s generation EZGO, but after watching this I don't think I need it! Thanks!
Glad it helped. Grease the main shaft, the shaft that goes inside the bearing, the one that has the threads on it. Grease it up real good before you insert it back into the new bearing. It has a zerk fitting, but it’s tough to grease it with fitting alone
@@Ozarkwild ck out my page I made a few videos on my golf cart I got little of everything on mine from how to videos to fishing shooting gun reviews and plumbing repair to just fun with family. I just put one on a throttle censor on my golf cart. Ya may 👍 like
Gracias
Outstanding use of basic tools and a $25 part instead of replacing a $200 assembly. Thank you very much for making the video and sharing.
Glad to help! Thanks for watching

Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build to completion! Well Done!
Great video! I am fixing up a 1995 ez go Medalist. This video has helped me!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching
How does the metal sleeve affect the slop in the steering? I was thinking there was a wore out rubber bushing of some sort
I don't get it either. Maybe it's wore down.
@@matthewknight2971 The metal sleeve is brass, made to wear. That’s where the slop comes from.
Do you have the part numbers?
Do you happen to know wheel bearing size for a 93' EZGO txt. Can't find the info online
Thanks for sharing
My friends
Any chance you know the dimensions of that bushing off hand? I'm assuming it's the same, but hate to waste $30. Thanks!
This video has helped a ton. When you say to grease main shaft can you tell me what you mean? I don’t want to miss something.

I still cant get the steering wheel off.
