      Has anyone figured out how to make hdr work without top shot. I love top shot but it decides best photo hdr but then you’ve got no option to make another photo an hdr export. I’ve learned that topshot usually always makes one photo have amazing quality hdr export and another photo with poor hdr export and then every other photo that’s not selected as best even if you love it will not have hdr export and will look significantly less quality.

      Okay, but look at 7:45. The Pixel photo looks awful with all that blue and the Galaxy nails it. And that's without even night mode. If you want to pick and choose random shots to make your point, I can do that too..

    Both nice phones it all comes to preference.
    But s22 Ultra is overall a very superior device its the best phone rn and its the true "Ultra" device. Hardware is just unbeatable.

    3:25 Exactly! But not just the 50 megapixel mode of the main camera. The periscope camera sensor has a 48 megapixel mode, which we can't use either.

    Pixel 6Pro has an AMAZING camera however I waited until recently to purchase and the phone has MAJOR bugs. It goes into DND randomly, drops calls, if I was talking on the phone the sound would suddenly go out. Maps while also talking on the phone would cause maps to malfunction. It was a headache. I sent it back and kept using my cracked phone for a few weeks 🤣

    I like how the Pixel doesn't always completely boost the shadows on the pictures allowing for natural contrast. But I don't mind the over exposing around super bright objects like the sun, trying to get rid of that as much as possible can be a touch unnatural. A bit of clipping is OK smartphone manufacturers

    • @Bibbatron
      @Bibbatron 2 роки тому +4

      They have found the great balance between shadow detail and contrast. Imo Apple crushes the shadows too much and Samsung brightens the shadows too much.

      Do you have the pixel 6? I do And by default it always boost the shadows to much

      @tooekneee 2 роки тому +1

      yeah.. not sure what you're talking about. pixel 6 have extremely boosted shadows. i think it's a nice look but it can look unnatural at times

      @Bibbatron 2 роки тому +1

      @@kaxxxxx Did you see the video? The Pixel has great HDR while still providing nice contrast. There's a reason the Pixel 5A that does the exact same processing as the 6 won the blind smartphone test Marques did

    I almost waited for the S22 Ultra knowing it would be the new Note, but so happy I went with the 6 Pro. Pixel hands down best all around Android camera. I'm surprised Apple is doing so good with the iPhone. They use to have HORRIBLE camera and for the last 2 years they been killing it

    • @nickmotsarsky4382
      @nickmotsarsky4382 2 роки тому

      Depends. If you want to shoot Portraits, Pixel is still awful with the 2x digital crop, bad edges and oversharpening. Otherwise it's pretty damn good.

    But then you should also go look for the videos that compare the ultra vs 22+ and that will actually blow you away with a very unexpected result. I bought the S22+ and am returning the ultra. Mmmm, maybe I should have waited for the pixel 7...
