Both nice, those action pan shots though on the pixel 6 Pro! Video at night hands down but not by much, better quality on s22 ultra. Neither I would particularly use with out good light. Everything else Pixel seems overall consistent.
Maybe it's just me, but in the lens flare comparison I much prefer the pixel's handling of the point light source over the s22's. The s22 might have less flare away from the source, but at the light source itself, the pixel controlled it much better. If that is the tradeoff then I definitely go with pixel over s22.

Personally, I don't care about the wait at night. Google Pixel 6 Pro would still be about half the time of my current phone and the photos come out better than competitors most of the time, so it's worth it.
at this point Samsung and Google should make phones together and use software (Android or smth else) as proprietary and not as open source. THis way they can eliminate competition vs chinese brands and be a seriously competitor to apple ecosystem.

I do hate how I can't force the phone to use the telephoto lens though vs. the phone deciding to 'let' me use it based on lighting conditions and subject distance.
Great comparison! 👏 The main reasons why I'd choose the S22 Ultra are because it can take portrait mode shots with the telephoto camera, while the Pixel can't (zoomed in portraits on the Pixel are pretty much unusable) and because of the 10x periscope camera. The thing is motion blur is a HUGE problem on my S21 Ultra, and knowing that it's still there on the S22 Ultra makes me very disappointed.
