I just ordered the V8 absolute on Dysons website for 350 and you get more than those tools, you get what’s in the box, and you get to choose three additional tools, the one shown here has the allergy kit option. Plus I asked for the flexi crevice tool and they threw it in free..
Not a fair test with the Dyson DC25 when she turned off the brush roller!! She should be showing with the brush turned on so we can see why the V8 with fluffy head is better!!
blakaeg I would never use an aggressive, spinning brush on my wood floor as it scratches oak etc quite easily. So while that point could have been made by the demonstrator, I think it's a fair test.
William Grose I doubt very much that the puny spinning brush on a Dyson DC25 will scratch your floor somehow, it's far from aggressive. It's not the brush that damages the floor, it's the base plates at the bottom that can damage and scratch them if the surface is damaged or sharp. So no, it's not a fair test.
blakaeg I own a V6 and a V8. The carpet head absolutely can and does leave hairline scratches in oak. Depending on what kind of stain/coating you have on your hard floor, I'd be careful using the carpet brush when that's not what it's designed to
Dyson V8 made cleaning fun for me! BUT my one complaint is why did the male presenter not clean? Why did they have to get a female presenter? Even the ads from dyson show a woman doing the cleaning.. come on! What century are we in?!
Notice the bigger particles she's using the soft roller on is done on carpet. Thats because if she demonstrated it on hard floor, we could all watch it fling the stuff around the room.
That 100lbs of weight demo disgusts me. It was the atmospheric pressure doing the lifting, not the Dyson. I dare you to try lift a 100lbs outside the vacuum chamber.
Just bought one in 2024. Absolutely fantastic and still well worth it. Much better value for money than the newer versions.
The best buy I've ever done! L O V E my Dyson V8!
I guess I am kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
@Otto Bentley Try FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
I like how they are just talking trash about the other Dyson ball vacuum
11:00 why does she go so fast with the corded? the v8 absolute is a fine machine that sells itself, no need for deception.
Are you mad you bought the corded and can’t accept the v8 is better? 😂
I think Dyson and I are going to become best friends ❤
April 2018 just bought all the above PLUS Dyson gave me a free Quick Release Tool Kit with 4 additional tools...all for 349 euros out the door = $395
She said that its really exciting!!!! A little less coffee in the morning can help with that over enthusiasm. YOUR WELCOME !!!
Wish I had these speaking skills lol
Wow it's a great vacuum lneed agivted one for the new year. It's possible?

I love dyson forever!!! Hahaha
What she means is a NON-CORDED tool not a non-motorized tool.Without a motor it would not operate.
sallymaggiespotty I think by tool she means the attachments are/aren't motorized.
Too good to be true. RIP OFF!
