Hello you should do the warranty claim with Dyson or with Amazon if you purchased there. I believe the battery is replaceable on this unit by removing some screws. Not sure if they would replace the entire unit or just the battery. Make sure you are plugging the unit into an outlet that works. Sometimes outlets go bad or get tripped through the GFI. I think its a 2 year warranty. Hope this helpts
Hello I believe you can use it but this one you need to hold the power button on. I would not recommend to use it to cut wood since the bin is not that big. Here is a hose adapter if you want to use it for small things. Thanks amzn.to/42JPBNP
What about a VS with a Shark UZ565H Pro Cordless Vacuum w/ Clean Sense IQ & MultiFLEX Technology at $119.99 (was $249 OMG NO WAY), but it would be cool so that way maybe its a close vs for those, like me, that doesnt have $400 laying around, but might be able to get $120 ;) like me. Id do it, but then again I dont have $400 laying around, but I did have $120 and Im very happy with my shark! NO Hair tangled on it, and thats saying a lot, for my wifes long hair thats falling off, has never gotten tangled on the dangle. Woot woot of the spangdingleflingbabingle peoples!
