i also use my battery cordless airbrush kit to show what kind of finish you can get with this type of airbrush kit
does the kit do the job ok? is the battery going to last without recharging?
the kit is the one i got from the Airfix Mystery box
how does the airfix kit compare to the revell version?

Very nice build. I wish I had half of your model making skills
cheers pal and its more about enjoying building them rather than how good i am
Excellent again, I will revisit
Great build ,looks really nice, thanks for showing the comparison between the 2, the cordless did well.
All the best Martin 👍
cheers it was a fun build to be honest
the revell kit is still a good kit for the cost of it
Good job really nice kit - always liked the look of the ME 262
the me262 is one of my favs
Absolutely phenomenal build what a beautiful end result you did that kit justice 👍
thanks i enjoyed it and its a fantastic kit other than the engine fitting
Will you be starting the build on the Mig 21 anytime soon because looks a Cracking kit
@@davidjones1588 was planning on doing it over xmas but i really need to finish the tornado
Aye up lad, really enjoyed this build, turned out great. What an iconic aircraft the 262 is. Just had a quick shuftie at your site...... you've got a new subscriber. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your vids properly. Best wishes from the other side of the Pennines.
cheers pal
nice to hear from someone who is from the north
done 2 me262 this year and could do another i love them that much
Hiya YM, nice build and paint job, i think all kits look better with pilots or crew but most manufacturers don't bother so "well done Airfix" all the best Eddie 🐦.
Gotta agree airfix do a nice job giving us figures as it gives some perspective on scale
Also your damn right about those engines and I gave you a mention in the video for it
Thanks 👍
You can say that again! A lot of manufacturers don't even bother putting something in there; even if it's not super detailed. I had to go to a separate online store to purchase a host of random 1:72 scale pilots in the seated position from the approximate eras just to get something in there. Also bought a box of pilots+crew so that I can have one plane with a pilot going up the ladder. Definitely breathes more life into these things than just seeing empty cockpits all the time. 🥴
Just bought a cheap airbrush from Aldi for £20.Not expecting much but it’s my first airbrush (skint as well).looking forward to using it though.
for £20 its certainly worth a try
will have to see if any are available in the aldi near me
@@yorkshiremanmodels it’s online only unfortunately. But hopefully there are some left for you 👍
@@Jacky_man542 ok will look later
@@Jacky_man542 orderd one and its on sale at £10 at the moment
will do a review video of it and hopefully its a good airbrush
Nice job, have you got a link for the airbrush.

this is the link but i think they are out of stock at the moment
@@yorkshiremanmodels thanks for the info
Really enjoyed the build it's a good kit. Can I ask a question can you just use water to clean your airbrush after using the clear coat thanks for your time all the best. Carl
iclean the airbrush with ipa first and then water for any water based acrylics
enamel or similar i tend to use mr tool airbrush cleaner or similar
ipa i find is fantastic
Thanks for sharing. I've never used any airbrush at all and feel a bit overwhelmed with all the options available with compressors and tubes. Would you recommend such a cordless airbrush gun to a complete beginner and how do you thin the paints? I looked up all my cans and it looks like I have both acrylic and enamel paints (mostly Humbrol and Revell paints). I assume you have different types of thinner for acrylic based paints and enamel based paints; or is it not recommended to use an airbrush with enamel paint? I guess I should just look around on YT to see if there are any "Airbrushing Guide for Beginners" videos out there haha.
Anyways, thanks again for sharing!
Forgot to ask, but what's the name/brand of that cordless airbrush gun?
i would recomend at cordless airbrush for beginners because it will do all you need it to
enamel paints need different thinner to acrylic and are sprayable through a airbrush
watch barbatos rex videos on youtube and you will learn how to use a airbrush because he has great videos showing how to use a airbrush
the airbrush i used in the video is this www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B089FB37JF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
it isnt available anymore but similar can be bought
@@yorkshiremanmodels Thanks a lot for the info and advice; I really appreciate it! 😃
what airbrush do you use mate?
on this build it was the portable airbrush kit i got which i have done a video on already
for other i usually just use my mr procon boy ps-270 which i find fantastic
