UMVC3 Ryu and akuma tag team combos (part one)

- You know its funny I only put in the deadpool ones cuz I was like I have no idea how long this is right now. But I was thinking about using the first song, so I was like maybe I need some more combos. So I kinda just half assed em' real quick. But looking at the first deadpool one it actually has the potential to be kinda cool. Maybe even build another bar add a jab before last dp of coures for another super bar shrug.. Anyway...
Honestly.. I stopped giving a fuck. Ive been really sick, and I just dont care. So heres a part one sorta deal. More to come. But when it comes I dunno. Of course strider etc will be in it more. But I didnt have much strider stuff on tape as it is.. So I figured may as well go with the gimmick of juts ryu and akuma basically for now. Of course yes I know if your asking there is quite a few places where I could have gotten more hits, but again. Ive been well.. pretty fucked up. I actually lost 5 pounds in one day at one point so yea.. Health is going pretty bad right now. And will to live let alone games is pretty low...
A couple notes for some reason the ol' akuma ground fireball super to link dp is much much harder now for some reason. Its now much more character specific and even distance specific now in many instances.. Not that I think anyone else has done it but me anyway but.. shrug
-For akuma vs sentinel the original ender for this was going to be link launcher to tiger knee dp. The hit stun is so high here that this does not even combo. Whats more at this point hurricane kicks and many other multihit moves can no longer combo ethier.
-For the ryu tag delay light, delay hard, delay hurricane kick land link combo. Its actually possible to link a jab, but I didnt have the patience to keep going for it. Note this is also possible to do after your super fireball combos as well.. but again even harder. Also note for ryu because of the way damage is delt now doing a medium link after super fireball does more damage, however because of hit box etc it is not always plausible. Also as show in the hagger combo, it is still possible but much.. MUCH harder to do the no recovery air moves. Of course in teh last game you could do this by tiger knee wave dash, unfortunately you can no longer do it this way. So its quite awkward/difficult.
First song is masterpark high voltage, and second song is manoria cathedral both from Levo Lution.
But yea again I dunno when ill finish up the rest, I kinda felt like.. I had to do this since I said I was going, and with health and everything. It was pretty unenjoyable.. So... shrug more half assed then usual shrug..

I just realize this is a video posted 8 years ago damn... Dude i ha e never seem anybody do these combos! Thabks for sharing... I khow the fgc, vegito discord, fatfuckmonger, etc have done you wrong but man there are a lot of people that just love figthing games that genuinely love ur work and khowledge, thank! Gonna try some of these tomorrow!

thanks for watching. I just borrow my brothers ps3 when i want to do a combo its not a super huge deal. The problem more so is that I do not play games very much, nor have access to good working controlers. And since my hands hurt from al the nerve damage I only have so much time to try to do a combo. So I umm basically just dont spend a lot of time on it I guess

I do not enter tournaments anymore because of health. Although yes i did when I was younger years ago before I got to sick to travel and ive won more tournaments then im sure most people have been to. Anyway tahnks for watching

@coopmeister3000 Ha I wouldnt say I wasnt trying. But half assed in that I dont have the patience to make sure I get all the hits. Since a lot of combos I just did easier versions of the idea beacuse I didnt want to waste time trying to get em'. Some combos took awhile, and some combos I got after the first couple tries shrug. I guess first combo of deadpool is good example. I got that pretty easily, and was just throwing it in because I didnt know how long the video was.

Just wanted to say thanks for inspiring me to pick up ryu with your older vids. It helped me get better and finally have a char to call my own that my friends don't use. Incredible stuff right here.
@insanebrain88 I really dont think I did all that many down in teh combos.. I did quite a few left right up etc.. I tried to give every direction some love shrug. Anyway I use niether I use a busted up old sega saturn pad actually.
@SolidPlay020 Its a remix of a touhou song to my knowledge. I just put it cuz touhou.. fireballs.. lots of fireballs here... That kinda thing... Plus since getting stoned a lot recently, I always kinda thought techno/trance etc sounds great when your stoned and levo lution stuff is no exception shrug...

Maaaan this is ridiculous !!! i think you have to be super skilled to perform this. i tried this, the combo with the same oponnent, i get almost like the half con most combos. the last one is the only i can do... awesome work
You are by far the most skilled combo-ist out there, you've helped me a lot with Ryu, you even PM'd me your inputs when I asked for them, still grateful for those.
It helped me a lot, I'm a lot better at playing ryu already. What I don't get is why I've never seen you at a competition before. Perhaps you're not able to, but I'd love to see you take out Combofiend or Justin Wong, cause they have nothing on you with these kinds of combos, although this is training mode though. ;)

@SaishuuKessen etc is still pretty good lol. Certainly I would like to get more subscribers to try and make money.. But considering the circumstances I still think I am doing stuff that no one else does. So im still happy with that shrug. Also of course for some reason some fuck/s randomly flag my videos for having sex in them sometimes to make my videos not get views. =/ So that actually doenst help either.
Although most of the TACs are down-motion (meaning you know what to press to counter), it doesn't change the fact of how ridiculous and flashy these combos are. Good work. ^_^

Start 5 meters, and must not drop the combo as well as the need for your opponent to never hit down when you TAC , this is why it isn't used in tournaments. Also why do that when Dr.Doom can just infinite for the same risk minus meter?
Still, this was really great nonetheless. I use Akuma and know some of his loops can drop often. So this guy perfected Akuma and Ryu, that is inspiring!

argh... seriously if I have to go and borrow my bros ps3 for this stuff just to proove you guys wrong. Write exactly what combo you are talking about and I will go do it again. If you are talking about akuma hurricane kick type combos, those have always not worked vs the entire cast. Some of these combos are cahracter specific I thought ive talked about that before. Like in the scraps combo, magento has A LOT of combos that only work vs him etc.

@drren189099 no i do not. I dont even have a ps3 myself, I just can randomly use my brothers when he doesnt take it to college etc. Also I do not really play games very much. Just very randomly sorry. Thanks for watching though, and yea I hope I get better to lol. As for subs well its funny.. im at like 600 now. Considering in this day and age with programable controlers etc... I think the fact that im doing this with carpal tunnel, on a broken down pad, old vhs tapes ....

@lakers24kobecolts18 boredum, just trying to think of what might look cool. Then trial and error. Say akuma one vs sentinel had quite a bit of that. As what was suppose to be simple turned out to take some thought process since they just tech so fast. Where as on the opposite end, first dead pool combo only took a few tries as it basically worked out how I assumed i t would. And thinking about it now I probably could have easily made it bigger shrug. Anyway tahnks

Your stuff is great man. I know you SAY you half ass it but this stuff is too godlike to be half assed. Could you do a strider orboros combo video? I feel like that's an unexplored part of strider and he could really use some max damage orboros stuff.
I can only talk for akuma, I don't know ryu well enough, or his combos. About the patched combos, there have been some patches after your video, and some of your attacks won't link anymore, like I said in the comment above.
I am still a huge fan though, and I've learned a lot from your video... it's the main reason I started playing Akuma. ;)

I've never planned on doing anything for it again I don't even have the game anymore so someone would have to get it for me the computer or steam or whatever for me to even remotely consider it

I'm sorry i'm completely new to umvc3 and i wanna make a team with akuma, arthur, and Ryu(i know random lol)but can you tell me if there are inputs to these if there are it would be great but if not i'll try to dissect it though it may take hours but i will try if need be and great video it was completely fun to watch i loved the music

@cmc42561 lk hurricane kick,then land Dp. Its possible to actaully do hp dp to add more damage hits, but mp seemed easier to me so i scrubbed it out and just well.. did the easier version. shrug
@mmmmmech thanks I hope so.. also just takes practice/boredum, im sure you can do cool combos too
@dren129 yes you can always reset stun while your in the air, if you can land a exchange

Delay the hyper after the hurricane kick slightly so they can fall in it not on top then mash 2S. Thats how I get it all the time.
ha, more so I just reset the hit scaling durning the combos using various tricks. Its deff still there, as there were some combos that were usppose to be longer but the guy just flipped to fast, so I had to end them sooner then I wanted to

@azuretriedge3 again im not sure what your talking about. To do a super after a shoryuken, you just super cancel. No more no less. Dp motion, then whatever motion of the super your trying.
Umm the goal of the video was to make combos that test the limits of the game creativily/cool looking, and how long random you can make them. Obviously if you just want instant kill combos I have a lot in other videos.

He's right, a lot of these things you do are patched:
For example: L, M, H, -> H, QCB L, cr.M, cr H, S: It doesn't work anymore, I found, at least I can't get it done on PS3 anymore, while I could before..
Some combos don't even follow up another anymore.
