The Pandoras were too early. The garbage comment from the swinish guy at the beginning about raunch'n'roll is embarrassing and stupid. A little later and they would have been judged on their merits as a band. The attempt to play up the "sexy" element, instead of just being good was a distraction and a mistake. Paula should have had more faith in herself and her band. The comments about the terrible mix are all correct -- a wasted opportunity. Still, it's cool to have this, much better than nothing. Rest In Peace, Paula and Kim.
I love women who can rock out on guitar. Well….it don’t have to be only guitar it could be drums or keyboards too but Paula sure was an awesome guitar player !! I love bands like Vixen too
I love watching this but wonder... Could someone put the original clip through good video/audio restoration? It can work magic. Remove some of the recording's visual/audio distortion and the lowered contrast from the fog.
miked4309 No one had that kickass attitude like Kim. She got me through the early parts of the new millennium. She blazed like a flaming ball of fire through all the craziness.
@@frankflapper445 "lucky guy" i think of that song playing when i found a new girlfriend after months of being in hell after a serious breakup. i loved her music. the new muffs albums are still great. i had a hard time listening to the one that came two weeks after her passing. its still hard for me to listen without being sad. i loved the way kim dressed and that smile...of course her howl and screams are second to no one.
I saw The Pandoras open for Nina Hagen, Beacon Theatre, NYC, August 1985. The killed it! I prefer their first 2 albums incomparison to this Hair Metal sound mixed with Farfisa.

Such a terrible shame, they were used as guinea pigs for this asshole's show. The sound they got sucked and this was a VERY good band, have the cassette. Honestly, they should have gotten keys out of this tune ..the band and added another guitar and they would have been gold. The Muffs and that entire 90's grunge scene sucked and THAT is what KIm really was so...not fond of her musidcal direction. Saw the Pandoras back in 1986 or 87 at Toad's Place in New Haven Connecticut. Great show!!!

They rolled out like the Flaming Lips w/ the overload of smoke . So awesome .
1:42 classic Kim Shattuck face
whoever was doing the sound mix should burn in hell
i was ready to make that comment twenty seconds in to the clip....guess you beat me to the punch five years minus 20 seconds ago.
In all honesty, I'm not sure a good mix would have helped the girls.
along with the smoke machine guy
The smoke show malfunction, the lyrics, and musical posturing are reminiscent of Spinal Tap.
This song was from an album that was never officially released. I have just discovered this band very recently. It's a crime they aren't better known.
Actually this track is on the album that was released, Rock Hard!
The smoke machine was a little aggressive. Aresenio's production people were off snorting lines somewhere. Totally missed doing their jobs.
