Yeah people yoinking Utopia, while not a common thing to happen, did happen enough to warrant running that card. "Just steal the number bro!" in general happened quite a bit in Zexal's early days.
C/C/Cs have to be the most situational archetype ever. They ONLY WORK, based on what your OPPONENT IS RUNNING And not like how Meklords only work against Synchros, I mean as in you can only summon your OWN MONSTERS based on what your OPPONENT RUNS Not mention how if these things ever got printed, similar to Hydradrives, at best you would be restricted on your side deck depending on who you're up against

I actually think the C/C/C cards are pretty cool. I've always been a fan of cards that use the opponent's resources against them like the C/C/C's here or Jim's Fossile Fusion card from GX, or even cards that can outright take your opponent's Monsters like: Ape Magician, Road Raven Red Queen, the anime effects of Brain Control, Mind Control, Cross Heart and Graverobber, this is like the ultimate insult to you're opponent to steal their shit and use it better than them. I actually made a C/C/C Deck before, including cards like DNA Surgery and Star Changer to alter the states of my opponent's monsters so I could use them. However, I ran into a problem, when Ii first made the Deck on the old YGOPRO, Montage Fusion was bugged and didn't work so I couldn't use the Fusion Monsters. While on EDOPRO they fixed the issue with Montage Fusion, they then created a new one as neither Critical Tunning nor Critical Overlay works as they are bugged too, this meant I couldn't use the Synchro monster, but I could still use the Xyz one because Critical Eye isn't required to make Rock Armor, all you need is two Level 6s and they don't have to be Earth Attribute, unlike the other Extra Deck Summons. So you could use two Shutter Layer 1's to copy two of you're opponents' LV 6 cards then overlay them or use generic easy-to-get-out LV 6s like Fiend Megacyber or Dododo Warrior and make Rock Armor whose actually decent since its effect is not once per turn and unlike his Fusion and Synchro counterparts his boosting effect includes himself, so detach both Overlay Units and you're at least guaranteed a 4500 attack monster and the effect is a Quick Effect.
Actually, Lord can be normal summoned or special summoned by ways other than the trap, he just can't be tributed for a tribute summon, so at least you don't have to summon it off a terrible trap card. He's still not a great card, but at least as a level 7 light warrior he has some decent support.
I tried to make an Armor deck once, only to realize they are way less cool in real life, where you can't physically equip them and you certainly aren't allowed to punch your opponent in the face mid-duel

You would honestly just be better off using something like Majespecters, Dinomists, or Igknights which all basically have the same archetypal pendulum effects as each other, but I do see what you mean in that you could easily splash pendulum statues into pretty much any deck you’ve already built

What is even worse is Reiji reasoning for creating the Pendulum Statues is to fight against the antagonists. I'm sorry, but how about instead of creating useless fodders, you create actual Pendulum Cards for the other participants!?
Well no, the pendulum statues were made during the tournament to decide who the lancers would be, they were scavenger hunt items that incidently could be used as relatively generic pendulum zones for any deck that wanted to practice them After the lancers were decided they *did* get specialty pends, those being Superheavy samurais Ninjas Performages Lunalights The entire abyss actor archetype *technically* frightfurs but idk if sora used them himself or if it was ocg/tcg support only
I don't think it's that easy to give a good pendulum cards to the participants as they would have needed to analyze everybody's deck to give it to them. Still, they should've given a good generic pendulum cards
I need to say I used to play battle wasp and those were my boys. I won multiple duels with them and they like to swarm the field so it was pretty easy to bring out the turners.
That last one got me good cause it was true. Gotta love actual protagonist Reiji taking everything from Yuya from controlling the plot to Yuya's only unique monster concept. All because Reiji could lol.

Guy have Big eye and Shock master and still lose. You need to take account that there is a thing with all yugioh protagonist called 'plot armor', Not even the most meta deck could beat the power of plot armor, specially protagonist plot armor. X.D The guy may be a bad player, but even if he was a good one, he would lose anyway because the plot demand it.
Pendulum Statues among all of those were definitely not a Deck Theme. The closest thing I can think of is Barrier Statues. You picked the one that helped your attribute pend summon.

White Knight Lord does not say it cannot be Tribute Summoned, it says that it cannot be Tributed (EDOPro does specify that this is for a Tribute Summon, so there's no Kaiju protection, however the restriction on how you summon it is still non-existent). This just means that you can't use him as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon

I think the rmour cards's thing should be how all archtypes work, I mean, it would solve the problems with "Frog the jam", "Winged dragon guardian of the fortress #2" and "Hundred-Eyes Dragon. or if they don't want to do that they could at least have said "Red-eyes" cards need to have a capital "R" to fix the last one.
I think ccc could work as a real deck have it target monster for the relevant monster and choose a level if it is an xyz or link give it that level other wise modulate it so that u can xyz or synchro have them hate on attributes and have multiple forms is good cause u can tune the deck to the opponent
