    Question, why do they just walk into the 9 bangs? (think that is the name) aren't they supposed to stun ppl? I get that they're wearing ear protection but you'd assume any other modern military would also wear them? aren't they supposed to disorient through flash itself as well? 😮

    • @hugoML652
      @hugoML652 Рік тому +12

      As a completely unqualified person. From what I know on flashbangs is a lot of the actual disorientation comes from how loud it is, the hearing protection as you mentioned, minimises this. The flash is not the primary factor, that's a belief promoted by media lika movies and games. Basically in reality they aren't going to be that disorientated if they aren't looking directly at the grenade and are also expecting it well wearing ear protection. IIRC

      its not for military uses , its for clearing houses from any hostiles , doesnt have to be military , so its effective most of the cases and a reflex is to turn around or cover your eyes when something is thrown into your room. even half a second is enough to make a change

    1:46 seems to show a very different approach between real CQB/airsoft.
    In airsoft, the second he exposed part of his body to the room without gun pointing forward, that guy in the corner(if any) would have easily hit the attacker at least 2-3 times(I am talking about the RELATIVELY realistic gas blowback, not to mention those crazily modified AEG/HPAs)
    But in real gun CQB, everyone do similar - compress weapon, pass through the door quick, point the weapon forward and shoot if there is a threat. I guess it's because 1) you need proper posture to control recoil and 2)you have plates to protect you against incoming fire?
