majestic leap can be pressed again to descend quickly and even change directions. phantom strike is great but it isn't necessary. you can even second press majestic leap, and then jump, dodge, and even crouch twice to descend if necessary to get the correct positioning.
just stopped watching after seeing it includes a completely unnecessary 6200 souls item lol. you could get any 3000 souls item instead of that and it would be 10x worth.
@@VFX So you said that, out of 40+ min of videos, ONE piece of information thats not even incorrect took all of its value away? You must be a cool guy LMAO
Amazing video. What I love is that you go through your build, along with reasons why items you chose are good, and then game play to illustrate and hammer home everything you go though in the build section.
Your guides are amazing! Keep up the good work and the dota analogies. I was just thinking of switching from seven to dynamo as my main and you come out with a build, clutch
Even when having a Phantom Strike is pretty good, aside from the benefits (+30% weapon damage and 15% Bullet Resist, etc), you kinda can achieve the same teleporting effect by pressing again the Majestic Leap while you are in the air, so you can dive into the enemy super fast. I would initiate with majestic leap, and after the Singularity ends, use the Phantom Strike to chase the slow and disarmed enemies.
Really hope more people watch your vids. You actually seem qualified to talk about this; most of the other guides are from ex-overwatch players and it shows they don't know how to build items properly (Really hope you cover Ivy at some point)
Would Alchemical Fire be good on Dynamo? Since you can pop it on the ground and trap them inside it with your ult for the full duration which does like 1000 damage
@@FreshFish420 Big AoE DMG is definitely preferred haha. Alchemical Fire shreds bullet resist by 50% though so it wouldn't be a bad support item to enable teammates to do more damage!
I'm still new to the game but I can already say that Phantom Strike is NOT needed at all. Better spend those 6200 in spirit items to make your ult and skills even stronger
Good build, but it feels a little to passive. Building gun and ult without focusing on either has given me a lot more value in my experience. I often go 15+ kills while still giving ny team value with ult. Warp stone, headhunter and point blamk should all be in mid game.
i dont like how you have to cast phantomm strike by hitting the ability button then clicking a target how can i just have it smart cast or whatever so i click the button and it goes off if im aiming at an enemy with no click required
I know having an auto build isnt the thing i completely understand what you are saying, but you dont think having headhunter mid game would help you secure kills to be able to use leap and ult? Idk I'm a dogshit dynamo main so what do I know lol
@@Lonnieyo twice as much range but double the cost and can't use phantom strike to run away, on top of that you get 30% bullet resist after warping. For me PStrike is also contesting green slots which i use for debuff remover or divine barrier
I've never played mobas, but I know efficiency and I can't stand how many items theses public builds have and they are all over the place. No goal or focus on what the build and playstyle are.
Yeah I´m losing my mind, really makes trying new heroes hard. It feels like EVERY build is for the sake of being an early to midgame brawler with no idea for the specific hero. Every build has melee items and random weapon items thrown into them
Building tank/ap on Dynamo is what everyone should do, but your build isn't perfect. Sitting 4 open slots waiting for 6.2k is very very bad. You are sacrificing your midgame for that spike. I would recommend filling slots first and then getting Phantom Strike in your 1st or even 2nd flex slot. Mobility/engage options that I find good are Warp Stone + Fleet Foot because I find Vitality and Spirit slots more important him, for things like Reach, Cooldown, Recharge and Duration on Spirit and Armors and general utility on Vitality.
6.2k is not as much as you make it out to be, realisticly you sacrifice 3 minutes of farm for a much better mid to lategame, this is not Dota, its not dota 6.2k gold, its like 2k in Dota, it´s just like farming blink dagger on enigma
@@Lonnieyo My only MOBA background is League so I don't get the reference of dota currency, but i get what you are saying. For me it's a big delay and without filling your slots before hand it's very risky in my opinion to go this route every game. But of course it's a playstyle thing. For example in league some ADC-s would go BF Sword as a component into Collector if they stomped early game, and are looking to snowball with a pricey component and a pricey full item, while if you are even or behind, you wouldn't sit on so much gold/souls when you need it. Not saying you are wrong, it's a great item, just saying that it's risky
The small but big statement of "You will need to coordinate with your team to actually kill people with your ult" essentially makes this build useless for 95% of players or more. Also while this sounds strong when you explain it, it would perform terribly for the average player. Dynamo's ult has a 3 minute cooldown. So literally in the first 20min of the game an average player will only be able to ult 3 times since you need to get to 6k souls to even unlock it.and thats BEST case scenario. This build basically outside of the Ult window you will lose every 1v1 fight in the game since you didnt scale your weapon and it will be a nerf gun. Also the fact that youre not rushing Improved/Superior cooldown is another reason why this build is more just a glorified support build. Because his ult has no cool down reduction for the lvl ups you SHOULD rush it even before Majestic and Phantom strike. And even then you should also rush refresher before those 2 as well or at the very least before Phantom strike. But even then it TOTALLY revolves around your team actually following up on the play which is never something to bank on for the average player. And even then how many games will an average player get where their ult will be super valuable pulling in 2 or more enemies in a fight in the first 20-25min? So even then youre only really gaurenteeing 4-6 kills in 25min? Which is not worth when you can just scale gun and basically beat just about every other champ in a 1v1 because his gun amd kit is so strong for dueling. So yeah this is basically a support build that is designed for a full squad to coordinate together.
Don´t sleep on phantom strikes 1v1 power, it´s also a 50% slow and 3 sec disarm, which will allow you to put insane damage on enemies, which most of the time don´t react to the disarm and simply stand still, look at you and die. But regardless, this is how long cd heroes are played in mobas. Farm on downtime, coordinate teamfights when ult is ready. Yes, most people are too bad at the game to play strategical, so pure brawler builds might be better in lower mmr lobbies, but if you want to play a brawler, simply don´t play dynamo: But I agree that this build is WAY better when playing with a couple friends or in a few weeks when more people started to understand the basics of the game
It´s the basic way to play the hero, yes you can stomp trash lobbies with damage only builds, but the moment the game picks up a tiny little bit, this will be way way better
I want to make more support/CC oriented dynamo builds work in my games too but my lobbies are too low-level and I get way more mileage out of damage builds

@@Suheii Lmao. The fact you think Dynamo can't 1v6 showcases how terrible you actually are at the game. The literal top build in-game for Dynamo is what it is for a reason. If you're so bad at the game that the loot you'd drop as Dynamo would put people into debt for trying to sell it. Just say so.
