We here in Australia are pretty lucky in regards to COVID-19 compared to the rest of the world. I just did a short roadtrip from the Whitsundays, where I live, to Cairns and back, just because! Saw some beautiful places that I hadn’t seen before. Cured those itchy feet for a little while! 😊
Thanks for your great videos! We've been following you through the lockdown and your videos are really inspiring to us because we've started our own channel now!
Hi, new subscriber here from Denmark! :-) I've always loved the idea of travelling in your own country; there's plenty to see! I'm from Copenhagen, but I visit several friends in Jutland every summer, and I never get tired of travelling in Denmark. We have many interesting islands, beaches, cultural and historical spots and tracks, bicycle tracks, small forests, various amusement parks, lots of local history museums, and lots of history to take in!
Only just saw this vlog. The USA has been opening back up for some time now and maybe a bit too soon. There have been up ticks in new cases of the virus. Some places have been closing again. As for my first trip my grandson and I did a day trip to see the camas flowers in Idaho around Fairfield. My next trip is going to be the Palouse area and Steptoe Butte in Washington State.
Glad that you can travel again. The drive and final destination look beautiful. As an Australian I still find it disconcerting watching cars drive down the wrong side of the road...Grin. Stay safe.
Hahaha, I bet you do! After I returned from Australia I almost got run over riding my bike on the wrong side of the road a couple of times... And German grandmas shouting at me: WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD GIRL!
Got back out on Friday night as the lockdown has been loosened slightly but only for going out local but it felt so good to be back out. Think foreign travel will still be restricted for a bit longer so will look to make the most of the Uk whenever we can travel beyond the local area
I'm so glad to see you are able to head out on a travel adventure for the first time in a couple months! I haven't heard of that place before (I won't say the name of the place so that people can watch the video to find out!), but it looks really cool! Things have been opening up here in Michigan, and I have been doing daytime adventures to different parks in Michigan although I haven't really gone more than 1-2 hours from home. I am considering a road trip through the United States in a couple months, but it is still in the works!
Wow, Nellie, you did it after such a long time! 👍 When I again can travel abroad, I would love to travel to Turkey to see finally my parents - after so many months of separation.
This place looks beautiful. In Scotland lockdown continues and list of places to go is very long. I'm missing nature most, fortunately there are some lovely park's in Edinburgh.
@@NellieWinter As far as I am aware, yes. Also a lot of bad news from tourism industry and limits on travels to Scottish Island (most are accessible only by ferry). But as soon as it will be allowed I'm going for camping. Also very nice intro was this your secret project?
Have you made plans for the first travel after lockdown? Wherever you go, don't forget to pack your mask!!
Yes Spain!
Who is that modelboy im Hintergrund?
He is very sexy
Did I see a 1967 Ford Mustang with racing stripes....? Das ist Krass!!
😄 you might have...

It hasn't disrupted my travel plans at all. I've still been going shopping and to work as normal...

Ahh sorry to hear that. We all have to be super cautious with traveling from now on, especially during the next few months. 🙏

Going to Madison, WI in the US next weekend for a week. Cooler weather than home, and more stuff to do outdoors!
Sounds great, enjoy!!

Thanks Scott!! A US road trip sounds like a great idea as I'm sure there are many beautiful places you can explore while avoiding the crowds :)
Rügen seems a beautiful place. Thanks for the discovery.
It really is. Thanks for watching 🙂

Thank you! I hope you get to go at least for a couple of weekend trips over the summer... Are hotels and restaurants still shut too?
