@opzz xsin Perseverance landed in Jezero Crater, and it's speed is 4.2-centimeters per second (around 0.1 miles per hour). Curiosity landed in Gale and it has about the same speed (slightly less). A meetup between Perseverance and Curiosity isn't going to happen. Jezero is about 2,300 miles (3,700 km) from Gale Crater, which Curiosity has been exploring since 2012 and traveled 15.35 miles. But Perseverance should encounter future rovers, as Mark explained in the video!

Honestly it just blows me away that humans can make technology like laptops. but to think we can also make rovers that we can send into space and on to a far away planet which just deletes my mind. like we made rock Iron and gold into a rover with so many functions is just insane.

honestly idk why but i keep getting emotional watching the artist renditions of space craft landing. its a tangible thing showing the ingenuity of us as a species, the culmination of YEARS of hard work, and a beacon of hope for the future. All this and I have 0 hand in this (other than tax money going to nasa. and they need moree). im a software engineer now (graduated in '19) and I hope I can work in a space-related field one day. specifically stuff like this. satellites, rovers, etc. its a slim chance though and i do enjoy the work im doing now.. but how cool would it be to say your work is on a different planet?
