Sad to see Red Hood gone, but I hope she comes back as she's a great character. I really like RH's personality and also pretty powerful too. Dorothy needs love, maybe from the commander. But its surprising and cute to see Rapi is more assertive and seems jelly when commander touch other girls. Seems like that mother whale is from Raptillions. Imagine that huge thing is on our side. People loved Raptillion so much they gave her the most epic main story entrance imaginable. As much as I didn't like the voice acting for Red Hood, she's still a badass character and I was really hoping to see all of the pilgrims get together. Maybe there will come a time in the next chapters where they do and whatever this new thing going on with Rapi isn't the actual end of Red Hood.
Not many people mention this but I have to give credit to the writing of many of the sidequests in this game. They're all mini adventures that Counters experience (like "extra" chapters in a comic/manga), and they are well written that make you feel things. Some of them are direct call-backs to the main story events, and some even eventually getting written into the canon main storyline when we least expected it, is good storytelling from the writers. The ending of Ch. 26 main story is a great example of the side story integration, and kind of encourages players to not skip the side content.
Yeah, I always found the side quests in NIKKE to be enjoyable and pretty deep. Even simple ones like the fishing quest at the end of this video, gave me a good laugh. So it was awesome to see a side character get pushed to the main story in a big way.
I appreciate ya uploading this. Im nowhere near this point in the story but anything related to the Goddess Sqaud I'm always interested in. And hats off to all the English voice actors that voice the characters but it's something about Anis' voice that just irritates me. Idk like every line she speaks has some sarcasm and attitude behind it. I know that's kinda her character though.
Men...That Mother Whale sure looks suspicious, I'm picking P.S.I.D code,but the fact that the metal is so brilliant white in counterpoint to the typical grey/black greyish that characterized them
The direction on Red Hood's ENG va is atrocious even by Nikke's standards. I like Paris Blu's voice but I wish SU would up their standards and more clearly outline the tones of these scenes because I get sucked out of the scene when characters say a line with an intonation that's completely inappropriate to the situation. They fixed Ingrid's direction so that she wasn't screaming after a while, so maybe they're making some progress, but who really knows.
Yeah, it's honestly a shame they butchered the hell out of Red Hood's voice acting. They needed to do a much better job at directing the VA. This just seemed rushed and all done in a single take. I'm not surprised. It's a gacha idle game after all. But there was so much hype for Red Hood and SU pumped her up so much that they didn't end up really doing any justice with her whatsoever.
So is Red Hood completely gone or does the new energy/memory in her core suggest she can be brought back? Feels like a waste of character interaction as im sure everyone waned to see Snow's reaction
lil bro, do you really think after what happened in the overzone event, that dorothy would suddenly change her goal? no, her whole life purpose changed to get revenge, inorder for her to change she will have to find a new purpose which she is currently in the process of doing.
