My infant son loves turning the pages in my discbound, so I made him his own planner. My bff's mom had a skinny classic she wasn't using. I slip in completed note pages I don't need and cover them in stickers, that way he can pop them out and rip them to his heart's content.
Both my toddlers have their own planners and they sticker them. We've gotten them on clearance or I give them leftover from my stash. My three year old will spend hours in her planner.
I save unused pages for whenever the days align, so I don't have to redate! The monthly only has 7 days it can start on... so there are plenty of months in the future where the 19th is a Monday, so that way I only have to cover the month name!
you could repurpose it into a travel planner/diary. Begin with pages planning the trip, then fill it with things you did, people you saw, and of course, photos, then journal a few lined pages about special moments or feelings on the trip, and finish with a reflection about travel, certain people, if you'd go back, or where to go next. You could include a packing list, sightseeing list, gifts to look for while you're there that you can give later at Christmas, birthdays, or whatever, etc.
I recently found a brand new HP at the thrift store. It’s a couple of years old, but I just white out or cover the dates each month and use it as a motivational planner.
I would LOVE If HP restored the paper quality back to 2020…..so that stickers could be REPOSITIONABLE as they used to be. GREAT ideas on this upload - thank you!!!!
Old Happy Planners are great to use in a writing notebook. The grid make it easy to create a story board for the different Acts. Each layout is used differently for creating the characters and the outline of the story.
When I don't like the front of my planner dividers, I cover them with paper from Hobby Lobby. There are so many options and the planner turns out really cute. Love all your ideas!!!
I love the share a planner idea. If you have different planners you can even set each month up with a different style (ie vertical, dashboard). Then they can test each one for a month and see what they prefer before they jump in and buy.
I'm a college student who keeps all my old writing assignments, essays, and printed PPT presentation slides in outdated planners. Old planners are also repurposed to: fashion logs, finance, home (maintenance, cleaning, care, property management), cookbooks with recipes to give out, travel books, contact directory/business card holder, Cricut cutting machine samples, sewing pattern organizer, et cetera...
Im loving these tips. Sometimes I get stuck and am like wth am i gonna do with thi stuff ive kept haha. And it also reminds me there are other ways to use a planner than just planning and journaling. Thank you :)
You got Acrylograph pens! Lucky you! I want some so bad. You can paint over stickers to recolor them if they don't match your spread. It's like actual paint. They're on my "someday" list.
Omg Love 💕 the memory keeping ideal for thee old dividers . Also framing the dividers , I’m redoing my home office so that will be awesome wall decor .
I went crazy when Michaels had planners for like $2 & $4 a while ago and now I have enough to last me a good 5-10 years... so I can't buy any more! Instead, I cover the numbers with washi or stickers. I also keep a journaling/commonplace section which I write as I please and just change those dates. If nothing else, it makes great list space!

If it doesn’t have sensitive info it’s good for sticking things eg scrapbook type art projects. Maybe offer them for free on some platform to crafters/ parents/ teachers.
I suggest keeping them because if they used it as a planner then it more likely than not does have info they probably don’t want to accidentally put out there. That’s why I keep mine..forever.
I buy filofaxs from thift stores all are out of date and i an either just writing in them stories ideas etc or i stick pictures in them like a junk journal none of them cost more than 5 pounds
Discbound systems are supposed to be great for sustainability. For most people if you have many unused planners it’s a symptom you are buying more than you need. Acknowledge that hoarding. As a test, would you buy a new planner to apply repurposing ideas. If the answer is no, find a platform to offer up the planner to someone that wants to use it for planning.
First off I receive a lot of planners from companies for free to promote and share. Because of this I have a lot which I do give to others to use and I also have extras to use for content creating purposes. Secondly, people in the planner community change their minds a lot when it comes to planners. Sometimes a layout doesn’t work and you have to change things up but you don’t want to waste the pages or throw away the pages from your previous planner which is why I was giving ideas on how to reuse them. It’s not about hoarding. And lastly, I have purchased planners to repurpose. I just got a clearance/outdated teacher planner (I’m not a teacher) to repurpose into a social media planner so answer to your test question is yes I would! Thanks for watching my video!🤗
Great ideas! I’ve taken your idea and made using a sidebar sticker and a double box in the bottom right side of the second page as my go-to start of a spread. 💙💛🪴
I bought a box of planners (20 planners) from Michael's for $5 so I will be redating for years to come

I bought my daughter her own planner but she still chooses to color and put stickers on my actual planners 😅

I would listen to your channel even if I didn't plan.❤️
With inflation I went through all my old planners and have a planner for every year through 2026
SMART!
Damn....how much you had in the first place 😆🤔.
The divider memory keeping is Brilliant

Yes that would be so cool to receive as a new planner. especially now since there are so many options!

I glued two dividers together so it's cute in both sides and use them to divide my filler paper
THat's a great idea! thanks for sharing
I love your Happy Planner frame, it’s really creative.
Thanks Crystal! I had a lot of fun making that one

I like to group my unused stickers by category and style, so I use old planners and pages to make custom sticker notebooks. I love the framing idea!
Love your tip of framing your old dividers!! If I ever get any extras I will definitely be doing this 😊
Loved, loved, loved these ideas! I always wanted to memory keep on a monthly but I use my monthly’s to track important dates.
I love the memory keeping page in your planner.
You inspired me to make a monthly only with filler paper in between from an old planner like an Eron Condron monthly I just saw.
Also a notebook for my son's surgery and care for july-sept!
Omg Love 💕 the memory keeping ideal for thee old dividers . Also framing the dividers , I’m redoing my home office so that will be awesome wall decor .
Thank you so much for sharing your tips. They’re very useful to me. I really enjoy these types of videos.
Great tips❣️ Love learning how to use or repurpose my existing craft supplies, and that does include old planner pages. 🤣
Love all the ideas , but #8 is really a great making a test page for a idea .Glad I didn't throw mine love that idea and the others .Thanks alot

Thanks so much for watching!
@@Happy2planwithDesiree You're ❤ welcome!
Great ideas! I’m gonna use some.
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Good ideas. I was definitely thinking of practicing 🤗
I use some old vertical planners to practice doodling in the boxes.
That's awesome! Love that we all have our ways of repurposing them
I glue two used pages together; gesso both sides and use them for mixed media art pieces.
Hi, what book did the stickers that has organize the fridge, sweep etc came from?
I love ♥️
Where did you get the deep cleaning stickers? Those are useful.
I believe they were from a Household sticker book from The Happy Planner www.anrdoezrs.net/click-100169500-13985150?url=https%3A%2F%2Fthehappyplanner.com%2Fproducts%2Fvalue-pack-stickers-household%3F_pos%3D1%26_sid%3De0453541b%26_ss%3Dr
I would be grateful to have a current full size academic Happy Planner. I don't have any and I can't afford any.
I think the quotes/sayings at the bottom can be used for something as well. maybe art or something.
Oh ya you can definitely cut them out and repurpose them!
How about making a birthday book !
Yes, that’s me not sure which type of planner I want to use, but to expensive to try different ones!
There's so many layouts so I totally get it!
What do you do with old used spreads from previous years? Do you just toss them or keep them?
I keep all of my spreads from my Classic planner. I like to look back and see what I did in the past.
If it doesn’t have sensitive info it’s good for sticking things eg scrapbook type art projects. Maybe offer them for free on some platform to crafters/ parents/ teachers.

I went crazy buying too many planners and gave them away to my co workers
Where can I find this date sticker book?
Can you share the link for the planner stickers please?
I get a bunch from The Happy Planner! www.anrdoezrs.net/click-100169500-13985150?url=https%3A%2F%2Fthehappyplanner.com%2Fcollections%2Fstickers
@@Happy2planwithDesiree these are super and unreasonably expensive.

I want all undated planners
Another idea is to cut off the top side of the page that has numbers.
A border?? @14:13

Acknowledge that you’re hoarding negativity. Try starting there. Life is too short.
