I love this! I have SO many unused classic happy planner pages, and I just recently combined all my extras into one place. One way I've used the empty weekly layouts is gluing sticker pages to them and creating a classic sized sticker book. I love that nothing sticks out like it did in the HP version I bought a few years ago which is in between a Classic and a Mini.
Wonderful ideas! You are really thinking "outside the box"! I just wish the HP company would stop putting the monthly calendar page on the back of the dividers.
I liked the idea where you chose the month with the same start date and number of days in the month that you need. This way you did not need to change anything except the month. Great ideas!
I’m a new follower and am trying to reuse some empty outdated planners my husband bought on clearance. Anyway, I love your ideas and especially that I can read God’s word while you speak. I also enjoy how you incorporate following God in your planner…prayer time, Bible time, and scripture writing. Be encouraged as many are hearing and seeing God’s Word on your channel. I pray for this to thrive and for your health to improve. Amen 🙏🙏
Watching videos in a play list and NOT liking them will have me watching doubling back lol! I have to remember to "like" the ones I've watched already. Note to myself + helping that algorithm, perhaps? 🤣🤣🤣
Great ideas! I like the one about using the old monthly views to record 30-day challenges. And the one about making a notebook from the old calendar parts.
Great video! I’ve decided to use mine by gluing scrapbook paper to the pages on both sides and chronicling my sons Navy career. Kind of a mini scrapbook but homemade and non-conventional. I love the tabs because it limits me to how many pictures and journaling I can do by the town and country as he is in. Currently he is in Korea but will be moving to Japan in about six months. I’m too excited! I’m new to all of this, 58 and behind the eight ball! Blessings!
That is a great way to use the pages! Not memory planning per se, but chronicling...different but similar. Love it! Blessings and prayers for your son overseas.
My friend you are an absolute genius. Your ideas are awesome. You make it very easy to just enjoy planning and writing on paper instead of being overwhelmed to add stickers to a page.
Love these ideas! I actually TRY to do self care but I really love this idea for creating a monthly self care chart to put in my planner. This will be soo much more convenient than how I have it currently which is NOT in my planner...LOL! I especially love the creating a new planner notes out of your expired planners! Great ideas.. tfs! :)
Love this. Just got through making an April Fitness month. I used stickers of water tracker bottles, scales for before and after weights, workout logs for exercise did, either gardening, house work, or walking at home using videos from the Internet, and the calorie intake. These numbers will help me keep track of myself, as I have a meal tracker on my phone for the program I am on. What an awesome way to motivate me again during this time. It's in the front of my planner where it is the first thing I see. Also used the front divider board as my motivation board, everything relating to my fitness plan. Thank you so much. Sara
I bought extra planners when they were like $2 at Michaels. I use them as journals/commonplace notebooks. I will also use them for future years, just redate. No need to buy new ones when I have such a sticker obsession that can cover up anything lol
I needed two more dividers and was about to order some ...then i watched this! I had so many unused dividers from a wellness planner that i ended up not using.....now I have an abundance of dividers!!! woohooooooo!
Thanks for the tips! I have that planner and use it for extra calendar stuff. However, I did go to Pairs this year and that March currently page is going to be pulled out today and I'll use it in my memory planner. I would never of looked into that currently page. Super cute!
Love these ideas! I just thought I could even use an old regular student planner and take pieces of it to use in my Happy Planner. Thanks for this awesome video! 💛
Loved this video. I needed this. I'm trying to make sure I use the guts from my planner somehow for 2020. Love the idea for the old calendar for 30 day challenge. I'm using the monthly layout for tracking my expenses each week cuz i didnt want to buy a new planner to track them.
I reused an extra Happy Planner as my music practice log. It is a weekly vertical layout, divided into 3 sessions. I relabeled the dates and I usually have at least two practice sessions a day. final section for quotes or stickers. I also reuse a coiled monthly planner to track my exercise work outs. I don't mind the relabeling because the notebooks themselves, and paper quality are lovely. They become the equivalent of one subject desk planners. I have an extra personal planner cover that I intend to use for one of those 30 days of lists challenges; just haven't implemented yet.
I know this is an old video but I have an issue getting rid of items especially paper items that can be reused or repurposed. Thank you so much for these great ideas!
Loved this video! I have a lot of coiled planners...can I uncoil and recoil the extra notes pages together for a notebook and reuse the monthly views for a new journal/memory keeping book.
I know this is an older video but thought I would share my idea --- I only use the actual calendar of a planner and so all those other pages are just wasted for me because I also do a digital planner well not sure about the older planners but the newer planners of Happy Planner some have 6 boxes per day I think they call this the student layout well -- instead of me buying a new calendar every month / year I just use those pages and create my own calendar because there will always be 30 boxes plus the notes area that can be used as a box for 31 days or you can simply just split one box into two to get the 31 day's with me doing this I probably will never need to buy another calendar again.... (there is usually 4 if not 5 weeks per month that will give you 4 or 5 months worth of calendars) ....
Sqaird Plans I've seen so many ideas for these planners that are easy to take apart. What if someone has the kind of day planners that have the wire binders? I've got plenty of those that I can't rewrire.
Perhaps can trim them and rebind them using rubber cement or other binding glue (like that used for notepads). Or you can remove specific pages and tape or glue them down into another planner perhaps?! Just some ideas that come to mind.
You can reinforce them with washi tape or cardstock and repunch. Also, trying not to take out too many pages at one time when removing from discs will help.
They are just vertical layout pages but here is the video where I made it if you are interested in how it was done. Check the description for links to the materials used. ua-cam.com/video/IH9HZ5vAVYQ/v-deo.html

I agree. I would have loved to reuse some dividers in other areas of my planner.
I think they do that on purpose to make it hard for people to reuse what they have 😂
I liked the idea where you chose the month with the same start date and number of days in the month that you need. This way you did not need to change anything except the month. Great ideas!
Great tip!

I bought extra planners when they were like $2 at Michaels. I use them as journals/commonplace notebooks. I will also use them for future years, just redate. No need to buy new ones when I have such a sticker obsession that can cover up anything lol
Sounds like a frugal strategy...Love it!

I'm so glad! Gotta save that money!
Great ideas, I have tons to recycle! I keep reading little hints there is more HP to be released this year. I am 🙏 for a fitness planner!
Really? That would awesome! I’ve already created a neutral template for a 2020 healthy hero layout so I have a backup in case no planner emerges.
these are great ideas!! thank you!!

Nice! The paper quality definite makes a difference. Can’t let it go to waste! 😁👍🏼
I’m glad I saw this before years end 2020. 💖

Loved this video! I have a lot of coiled planners...can I uncoil and recoil the extra notes pages together for a notebook and reuse the monthly views for a new journal/memory keeping book.
Nice! I’ve never thought of uncoiling spiral bound books. 📒👍🏼
Print shops/office supply stores can put a new coil around pages, too.
Thanks! There were a few I haven't done yet!
Nice! I am glad you got some fresh ideas! 😁👍🏼

What is the name of the adhesive you used on the tab page?
I think you are referring to Tombow MONO Glue adhesive. Here are a couple affiliate links for you: amzn.to/2PtmyKw or (michaels) bit.ly/39Mf0fg
I love your ideas!
Thank you! 😊
All great ideas!

Oh my gosh loveeeee these ideas 😍❤️

Glad to hear it!
How can I preserve old dividers from ripping at the part that snaps into the disc. Please help
You can reinforce them with washi tape or cardstock and repunch. Also, trying not to take out too many pages at one time when removing from discs will help.
@@squairdplans thanks!

Yep, I already reuse my dividers

I like your ideas, I don’t like these things to go to waste. One thing, though, February 2020 actually starts on Saturday....
Uhh, you are totally right. Ugh. 🤦🏽♀️Glad I haven’t committed to redating those pages yet. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂👍🏼
Oh, good, I am so glad you haven’t re-dated them yet! Lol. I only knew because we have just booked a vacation for the last week in February! 😀😀
Lucky! Vacation sounds awesome! 😁👍🏼
Great ideas !
Thanks! ☺️👍🏼
What type of pages were those originally you used for the master schedule? Is there a sticker that has times in a row?
They are just vertical layout pages but here is the video where I made it if you are interested in how it was done. Check the description for links to the materials used. ua-cam.com/video/IH9HZ5vAVYQ/v-deo.html
