I have to guess this is a much dumb downed version of the original scripts (probably because of time restraints). The original thing would probably help with the likability of the characters.

I am not sure if anybody notice this yet but if you play the New Order version the dreams BJ had (the one with anya and his two children in a home) at most time when he is unconsious, it might be BJ looking through the other dimensions where the Allied Forces won.
This game feels so empty. It’s short, there’s no characters to connect with save for two of them (who have little distinct traits), and the tension and atmosphere isnt there

It's missing a cool story line, and surprises like when you get your head cut off, and it turns out you can re-attach it to another body or when you are an actor being recruited by Hitler. and when everything is calm, and you get to walk next to an enemy without alarming them. In my opinion.

I can't get over the fact that Jess and Sophie are switching between English and Polish mid-sentence when talking with their parents. I think I finally understand how italians must have felt with Assassin's Creed 2, where random words like "Bene" and "Grazie" weren't translated to english by the Animus.
This game could have been just an extend to the New Colossus, the story was short, graphics feel rushed and under developed for a 2019 game...also there should have been new weapons, new enemies, new techologies after 18+ years in the game, but we still have the same stuff, same exo-skeletons, same weapons, same everything.

So let me get this straight - BJ killed Hitler offscreen - Grace, Anya and BJ are the only actual characters from the original two games - BJ gets about 10 minutes total screentime - The main protagonists are annoying as fuck and only have about 30 seconds of character development - The entire plot is contrived and feels like fanfiction I would have honestly preferred to just live with the sequel bait ending of New Colossus than have this be canon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual sequel to Youngblood is a Wolfenstein IV where we see at the end Hell invading and Doom Guy coming in. It kinda seems like that considering they showed that the original timeline still existing and in Doom (2016) and Doom 3D I believe showing that Doom Guy closing the portal to Hell from infecting the og timeline and BJ possibly seeing that.

Wolfenstein Youngblood was most definitely the worst Wolfenstein game so far. I personally don’t see the franchise getting any better. Old Blood and New Order were great.

Putting the story aside, I couldn't help but feel a bit giddy over the power suit designs. Ever since the prototype, I was thinking "Is this a precursor to the Praetor Suit?" These upgrades are making me wonder even moreso now. Da'at Yichud + Hell's finest tech mixed into one angry man that Hell itself cannot contain... makes for a good premise, I think.
Man... not super happy with this story. Really enjoyed the previous two, but this just goes too far in every way. I was hyped for a "take back America once and for all" kind of third game based on The New Colossus' ending, but that's right out the window for good. Damn.

Wolfenstein Youngblood was most definitely the worst Wolfenstein game so far. I personally don’t see the franchise getting any better. Old Blood and New Order were great.

Did he kill him as Mecca Hitler? What technology was given that made Hitler at least somewhat coherent enough to tell BJ of his plans to take the world with him? I guess that’s why this isn’t officially Wolfenstein III…

One is dead. You choose in Wolfenstein: The New Order. If Wyatt survived, he's likely President Elect in 1980. If Fergus survived, he's leading the UK Resistance.

Putting the story aside, I couldn't help but feel a bit giddy over the power suit designs. Ever since the prototype, I was thinking "Is this a precursor to the Praetor Suit?" These upgrades are making me wonder even moreso now.
Da'at Yichud + Hell's finest tech mixed into one angry man that Hell itself cannot contain... makes for a good premise, I think.

Man... not super happy with this story. Really enjoyed the previous two, but this just goes too far in every way. I was hyped for a "take back America once and for all" kind of third game based on The New Colossus' ending, but that's right out the window for good. Damn.
