I appreciate your tips! They were a lot more specific and granular which I appreciate as lots of the tips out there are just regurgitated over and over. Oh and the reason that Disney likely doesnt call it a Jetski adventure is because that is a brand trademarked by Kawasaki. The class of device I believe is a "personal watercraft." Much like people use Kleenex, Band-aid, or Chapstick to describe a whole category of product.
My biggest tip is don’t invest too much emotionally in excursions on castaway…they are often cancelled especially if it’s the slightest bit windy🤷🏻♀️ Castaway is enjoyable on its own. You can almost always get snorkel gear, tubes and bikes without pre booking. Pelicans plunge is fun and meeting characters times on app.
AND... Port Adventures are regularly cancelled. But there is more than enough to do at Disney Castaway Cay without needing to do Port Adventures (IMHO).
Go to Disney cruise line website and search for “port adventures” and then you can filter down by port. It’s not super accurate because on Lookout Cay it has all the potential activities that aren’t up and running yet because the port is so new

Good! That’s what I was going for :) and that makes sense about the “jet ski” 😂 I never thought about that

Yes!!! We were so excited about jet skis and parasailing and both got cancelled 😭

Great tips! My kids are 3 and 5 so now we will wait a little longer maybe
I’ll definitely wait until my kids are 5 so they can get the most out of it !
Where can I find where the excursions are listed beforehand so I can decide what I want to do?
