SUITABLE FLESH - Director Joe Lynch calls out film critic's low Letterboxd score

Fresh Fiction and Denton Record-Chronicle reporter Preston Barta sat down (virtually) with #SuitableFlesh director #JoeLynch to discuss his new horror/thriller. The film premiered at #FantasticFest in Austin, Texas, this week.
In the above video, we discuss the film's exploration of out of body experiences and how Lynch relates to it as a storyteller, the theme of "life spinning out of control," and favoring works that challenge the viewer's thinking. Enjoy!
'Suitable Flesh' will premiere in theaters and on VOD on Oct. 27, followed by a Shudder premiere in January 2024.
Synopsis: Psychiatrist Elizabeth Derby becomes obsessed with helping a young patient who's suffering from extreme personality disorder. However, it soon leads her into occult danger as she tries to escape from a horrific fate.

Love Joe, love listening to Joe talk film.
Although this felt like Joe came fully prepared to protect/defend his vision and direction, which could come from his past experience with Knights.
BUT either way, I cannot wait to check this flick out!
