An extraordinary repertoire presented with such beauty, elegance, sensitivity, musicality, and virtuosity. It's a testimony to the performer's dedication to the world of the classical guitar and her profound understanding of the instrument in expressing music. Irina played every note with passion from the heart. ❤

What a lovely and touching program from my all-time favourite guitarist! Thank you for singing on the guitar, including outstanding technique, richness of colours and everytime authentic emotions in playing. That's real music, able to say so much more than words. I can feel in every piece that you have a special, personal and true relation with it. And, of course, Lagrima & Co. are also part of it. Some have forgotten how to enjoy it, as if they no longer want to know the favourite dish that their mother cooked for them. Especially mature and really great artists no longer need false restraint when it comes to "simple" pieces. Playing them beautifully and authentically from the heart is never easy. And hey, last but not least: my daughter is 8 years old and she loves playing the guitar, but Tarrega inspires her even more than Bach at the moment and that's ok. This makes it easy for her to absorb and share Irina's joy in music.
Irina, I hope to see you live in Germany one day, if you ever plan to play there.

That was the first time I heard the Marielle piece which was very sweet warm and beautiful and when she plays the asturias the arpeggio between the strums created and audio illusion of two people playing a piece. The most technically peflrect performance I have ever heard of that piece. Fantastic.

thank you for posting this lovely program and Irina is a wonderful player. Here is a suggestion for all classical guitar societies and certainly other instrumentalists concerts, to set the stage with welcoming and intimate props such as flowers, plants, a classy table and lamp as well as other artistic backdrops. I attended a concert with Paulo Bellinati who had the stage set in such a welcoming way, it felt like we were all in his living room.

Carnegie Hall in NY doesn’t have any better background on videos if you are not in the hall yourself. You could have 2 options: 1) go to my concert in person somewhere I play in the world and not just watch the digital version. 2) close your eyes and enjoy the beautiful music I performed live in the acoustic that is not amplified. Instead you chose to write publicly an unpleasant comment… Why? Shame on your comment and nothing else.
Personally I agreed to play there and I loved the audience and the acoustic. The whole evening was wonderful that’s why this concert keep remaining online.

@@IrinaKulikova You put forth the effort to look nice. Someone there could have put forth some effort to make the platform in which you were giving your time look like they appreciated having you there. Yes, it does sound wonderful. I suppose you could have just played in sweatpants and a shower cap. Sorry to exude negativity, but my opinion remains. I'm not being a snob. I can completely appreciate a busker on a filthy street corner because that is what it is. I just have no doubt this venue could have made the stage much more pleasant for all......but they didn't. Not a huge deal. I'm over it, but hope there's improvement going forward :)
