I was a hairstylist for some time, and I think yours would also look stunning if you parted it in the middle and began the curls about 3 inches above the tops of your ears . I've seen that on many runways and it's kind of a tribute to the two most popular 70's styles, stick straight, and permed to death. Well besides Marc, he was naturally blessed and never had to do much with his hair at all. I've researched SO much about his hair routine. June used to cut it for him :)

Setting lotion is specifically designed to be added to water to spray into your hair when setting curls. It’s super cheap at Sally’s!
Lottabody Setting lotion works great for helping the curls to hold! I do more structured vintage styles and its helped keep them together for up to 4 days. Before I used Lottabody, I used sugar water and it worked almost as well!

I just tried this and I used all different sizes of rollers and I really loved it! I’ve got really thick hair tho so I didn’t have quite enough curlers but I just bought more so I’m excited to try this again
Also I used lots of hairspray to keep them curly

Love your channel Devyn! I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Pamela over 10 years ago. I remember crossing paths with her at the New Beverly back in the mid 2000’s as well. It was at a screening, but the name of the movie escapes me. One thing that stands out is buying her deck of tarot cards at a garage sale. I gave her a reading as well. I have so many memories of life in Los Angeles. Cruising the strip in the late 80’s. Bands handing out flyers. Rock and Roll Ralphs. I have yet to watch all of your videos. I’m looking forward to it! I cannot find any accurate information out there. Seems like most people only style based on stereotypes of the decade. But I feel like you would be very historically accurate!

If you have layered hair, pin up your longest layers underneath the style! That’s what I used to do when I had long hair. It gives the style more volume too.
I have the same length hair, and I tried it, for me it didn't really go the same shape as Devyn's hair. But it still looked really nice.
Use flexi rods instead

I have long natural curly/wavy hair but I have trouble with tangles alot of times. What is the best eyeliner to use? I'm having trouble with wearing eyeliner because my eyes are sensitive.
E.L.F liquid liner and inglot gel black liner (remember to set the liner with black eyeshadow) :)
