When you’re doing bright looks like this, don’t set your eyes first and just go in with the color. That way it has a ‘sticky’ or ‘wet’ base to really stick on to and it’ll be way brighter and true to color. Love the look!✨🌸

Devyn Crimson it also helps if you paint a thin layer of setting spray on the eyelid an wait for it to dry. The glycerine in SP is tacky enough. it works better than traditional primers/concealers and it doesn’t make the shadows bunch up. 😊

Back in the late sixties and early seventies Yardley had something called sigh shadows and you could use them like water colors I think you would have loved them, have you ever been told you look like those pictures of big eyed children ? they were adorable.be healthy and safe everyone.

Hey Devyn, have you tried sugar pill shadows? You’d love the blue shades. They have shades inspired by Edward scissor hand and the 60s. Incredibly build able and blendy. The white is my go to for emphasizing a sassy brow arch

I love this style (60s/mod/twiggy), but it's so difficult to recreate with deepset, hooded eyes! Do you have any tips?
I would say just try to work with your eye shape, not against. Whenever I do someone else's makeup I kind of alter the look to fit their facial structure. Idk if that helps!!
i found it hard too!! i would say ignore your natural crease line, and instead put shadow just below your brow bone. you could even add some on top of your brow bone if you want it to look a little more dramatic, just make sure to highlight under the eyebrow! hope this helps
by eye shadow i mean like, the dark crease part ,, i hope you get what i mean :)
I have extremely hooded eyes, and doing a line in the crease or “banana” crease is actually quite easy, just draw ABOVE where your crease is, and draw the eyeliner while looking straight on into the mirror, with your eyes rested, so you’ll see how it looks when you’re resting your face! Hope that helps

I am 14 yo but I ABSOLUTELY love 60s and 70s style. I fell in love with the music and saw MANY photos of that era's fashion. You nail it, I must say!
Pamela Des Barres and the GTOs are a influence for my style, I was so shocked when I saw them! On the other side I love Pattie Boyd and Jane Asher's style... Anyways, you manage to get the "spirit" or the "essence" many people don't get because they stereotype.
I wanted to tell you, YOU ARE AMAZING!
I love your videos! They're always super natural. If you don't mind, I'd like to give just a little tip about applying the eyeshadow! It usually works best for me when I give little taps with the brush on the skin, without smudging. Then when it looks an even surface I go with the smudging over it with some other color, etc. Hope it helps :)

What brand of liquid eyeliner do you use? I love how fine it is
I really do not suggest the liner I’m using rn. It’s been the most irritating liner I’ve ever worked with haha. It’s L’Oréal matte liquid liner but it gets so clump, rubs off easily, and isn’t cruelty free! My all time favorite liner I’ve used at the Tarte clay liner even though it’s an investment. It lasts forever & doesn’t move when it’s dried down! 💞 I used to like the elf liquid liner but recently I’ve noticed they changed it or something. It’s super watery and rubs off easily. I hope this helps some, at least knowing what not to get! 🌸 I always look for a super fine tip
