Thanks for taking us along on your special hunt. It’s tough enough sometimes to get a good shot , much less getting it on video. We all experience some dry runs on seasons we have invested much time and money in. It’s the reality of hunting. The fellowship y’all have still makes for a good time. You guys are all class act deer hunters. Looking forward to the next video!
Congrats Brodie. I really enjoyed the videos. No worries on the harvest. A lot of us suffered through gun season but its not always the kill its the hunt that makes the memories. Thank you for sharing.
Great Video. Its easy to see that you all really love spending time together. I wish there was more emphasis put on this aspect of hunting and hunting groups. Our group in Wisconsin started hunting together in 1962. The oldest member is 78, one of the originals, and the youngest is 10. We hunt to hang out with people we love. Occasionally,we even shoot deer. Thanks for the great video. Happy New Year.
So happy to hear about your camp history and that it is still going today. Thanks for sharing ! Merry Christmas and good luck to your camp next season!
Love the walk in from the blind back to camp. Gives us a idea of what it's like up there. Some beautiful country up there. Had no clue where the blind was compared to camp. Another great videos thanks for sharing
That's a good idea. Often I'll stand or approach the blind directly in line with the posts. It works pretty good. I had considered adding some see thru material to help knock the wind down in the blind. Thanks for watching!!
I have watched pt.1-3 of the Campbenny videos .you guys have a nice camp. Is all the land that you all hunt on private land? Or just the camp . Either way it reminds me of when I started hunting. In my area of southeast Ohio . My grandfather had a log cabin we would stay up there . 4-5 of his buddies would come and stay to hunt. We would sometimes ride the back roads to stop at other camps to see how there hunting went . We met alot of good guys doing that . People from all different states came there to hunt. Back then all of the land was owned by a coal company . Now it's all Wayne National land. Anyways alot of the younger guys got there own land to hunt on and as time went so did the old-timers went also. Now I hunt pretty much by myself or with a good life long friend . I have the pictures and memories. Ps 😁 some years our meat pole looked the same as your guys. It was still fun.😁
We have quite a bit of public land around us.. Sounds like you built some great memories at your grandpa's camp. Deer camp is definitely a tradition thing for us. It's nice to get deer but it's more about the adventure and building memories together. Some of the guys in camp are holding out for a giant and others are happy to hunt a week out of the year coming home with a big spike horn. Thanks for watching! I've thought about making the drive to hunt some of your Wayne National Forest a time or two. Looks like some great property over there.
I guess now days this wouldn't work for being the new guy in camp but back in the day when I first went up to watersmeet in 99 I was elected to gut everyone's deer that year and I gutted nine bucks that year with pride but that would of been a good chore for the new guy in camp. Laughing..... Glad to see you guys still stick it out up there givin the conditions now days but keep it up for all the michiganders who appreciate your videos and as always be safe my friend.
Excellent video, love the fact that you are open with your faith in The Father. May God always Bless you all.
Thanks brother ! Really appreciate it

Thanks for watching !!
I hunt in the UP too!,
Nice. Ever thought of hanging camo material at the base of the box blind? At least on the sides that face the power line.
That's a good idea. Often I'll stand or approach the blind directly in line with the posts. It works pretty good.
