Its genius fuck spending months in the woods summer to Jan away from ect and what to maybe get luck and kill a 120". Time is money 6500 is 2000$ to much for me but 5 days and you are covered in Trophies. 6500 is what you'd pay 8n taxes to own a good chunk of woods might as well just go to where it's all set up and done right.
We get these here two city fella ith big four wheel drive cars that live in the city come out once maybe twice a year with all the gear that ordinary folk could only dream of owning we hold their hands and basically point the gun for them all they do is pull the trigger then get in their expensive cars drive back to the city and tell their friends what great hunters they are and their real woodsmen , sad twats but hey I make money outa them b sides most of the time they'll usually leave something handy behind like the meat

I invite these guys to my home Washington county New York. I have 3000 acres. You really have to be a skilled outdoorsman and really understand whitetail. They would be lucky to shoot a basket 8 here in New York. Dedication and knowledge

The reason for the large bucks is management. Most people are like you and anything with a rack is on their target list. When everyone does this like you there are very few mature bucks. If people would let small deer walk and harvest only large bucks then you grow bigger bucks. I know your state doesn’t produce many trophy deer. Do your part and learn about management then educate others. Also you can hunt out of state.
Very nice indeed! I just placed my very first shotgun(s) on layaway yesterday. A Mossberg 500 combo and a Savage Stevens. The deer here in Florida are the size of Chihuahua. However, in my mid-forties I have never bagged a deer yet. I hope to hunt at least one here before moving to Alaska to hunt the true big game. Thanks for posting the video. How did Alaska work out? 95% of people who move there for hunting either die or leave in the first year. It's the cold mostly, but the Kodiak Bear is also a factor for a lot of deaths. I was told this statistic by an Alaskan who was born there when I was trying to buy a hunting cabin. I decided not to. Not worth the risk.

Nothing better than pulling through those really tall fence gates after paying a few thou, meeting up with the guys, drinking garbage Budweiser, just to know that you will get a deer for sure. The smell of late autumn/early winter and deer so tame you can pet them. Now that is real hunting.

It was wounded, but it could have been from a piece of wire, another buck, if shot by arrow or gun it must have been coming or going as the wound looked glancing.
I have a deer farm where I hunt, every year,, there are no fences and they live in the same area as moose, bear and all kinds of small game. It's below zero and and the snow is deep, It is so wild they don't even know I am a human.. NW Ontario Canada..

Don't say you wouldn't . If you could afford it I'm all about hunter's ethics as well. And I don't believe in shooting a deer in a high fence area absolutely not I don't agree with that at all but a well-managed ranch that's not high fence if I had the money I definitely do it at least once in my life.
@@DoesUrBeanHang Not everybody has the luxury of hunting in a property like this, most people hunt where there are a lot of neighboring hunters around the same forest so you can't control their actions and therefore what's left is pressured deer which are much much harder to hunt than the deers in this video. I love to see these guys hunt in my area, it will be amusing.

Ofri Mashiah the meat is good if it is a redish color. If when gutting the deer it looks like a dirty brownish red then the deer has a disease. If the weather is below 50 for a high then the night is next to 32 then you can let the deer hang for a few hours to drain all the blood out. Just get the deer processed as soon as possible no matter what. If it is above 50 during the day place bags of ice in the body cavity and up near the neck. Good luck and happy hunting.

TD Outdoors 100 yds or less, it puts a hell of a whop on them. Also makes a nice big hole to bleed out, but not so much hydrostatic shock and bruising of meat as a rifle. I wouldn't use one beyond 100yds, and only for heavy forest. This show was during a "shotgun season" anyway, so mute point.
I am all for deer management, and passing on the young bucks in order to let them mature for the following years. At the same time though, having a set of rules, which you constantly think about and second guess your own judgment, and pass on monster bucks because you don't want to be "that guy" that shot a deer deemed to small. Took the fun out of the hunt.
Their sandbox their rules. Hunting on a ranch with a 150 minimum you know if you kill one it’s going to be a monster. I’d definitely do it given the chance but you can’t be as proud of hunting a managed ranch as opposed to a private farm or national forest.

Wisconsin is best bet for a real book deer even on public lands.

what kind of shotgun and scope are you using
The Bell45 some used a 20 guage slug gun and the others used a 12 guage slug gun. The scopes looked like the leupold slug gun scopes.

Pay to spray operation. They let the deer out of the corals at 5:30 am every day and out em back at 7pm for the next days hunt.

Robert Anderson the ozonics only works in a 20 foot range and only kills the human odor. I haven't used them but hear good things.

Jasper Rybinski its a sabot slug. When someone say “slug gun” they mean a shotgun that has a rifled barrel and shoots sabot slugs.
