Best thing about McDonald’s in Thailand is the quality is uniformly good, always hot, always cooked fresh. Much higher standards than many places in the west
KFC in Thailand is the best in the world by far. There are three flavours here; original, crispy and hot&sour. The special items which are only in Thailand KFC are a shrimp donut and a legendary egg tart (you wouldn’t be regret). Free unlimited drinks self-service and some branch open 24 hr free electric charging spot. Don’t miss the egg tart, it is the bomb !
Thank you!! 🙏🥰 Too bad I always buy KFC via delivery so the chickens seem to be uncrunchy and look sad. Fried chicken is my fave food so I suck it up and keep ordering the sunken chickens though. 😂
@@jomontanee Yeah KFC take out is not that good because its need to eat immeditely after bought and close packing make hot food soking wet which is bad for fired foods. I always only walk in when I want to eat them
Thai KFC must do better than other place in the world cause Thai have Hat Yai Fried Chicken (Fried chicken from South)which super popular round country, KFC would die if they do chicken just like other country, You can check out Hat Yai Fried Chicken from Mark Weins UA-cam 😅
@@snich2140 Definitely true! I'm Thai and my hometown is in the south of Thailand (Pattani province is not far from Hat Yai) it's so glad to hear that you like it.
Fast food in the US is primarily for poor folks these days. In Asia, it's a cool Western thing that only the middle class and above can afford. As a result, though, the restaurants are cleaner and nicer all-around, and employees are that way as well. 😆 Thai food is obviously much better and healthier, but I do tell people to try the US chains for a reminder of what they were like back in the 70s and 80s.
Hello, i watched all of your videos even though i am Thai . About 20 years ago i went to USA and since Samurai burger is my favorite so i tried to order it but i could not find it in the menu ! at that time i realized that the only place i can get it is Thailand only ha ha I hope you enjoy my country . Welcome to Thailand 😊
That sauce is for fried chicken or anything coated with flour fried stuff. We , Thai people called it chicken sauce 😋. P.S. I think every McDonald's shops in Thailand have a sink for customers to wash their hands after the meals.
Many Thai don't eat beef due to a religious belief. That's why they have pork, chicken, and fish on their menu. I don't like Mcd's corn pie but I like their pineappple pie though.
I'm Thai and a Buddhist and eat beef in Thailand without any issues and they do have beef dishes. It's just that some Thais prefer other meat over beef as a preference. Now, there is a special sect of Buddhism, mostly Chinese/ Thai, that does not eat beef due to religion. But yeah, we Thais eat beef. Where's the beef?
That’s a very specific group of people. Those that don’t for religious beliefs are usually Guanyin Bodhisattva worshippers, which are apparently unique to just Thailand to practice such a thing. Even among they themselves not all of them strictly do that. Most of the time people just don’t like its flavour. Beef is no different than other kinds of meat among other buddhists.
It's not a religious issue; some people just don't like to eat meat of big animals. They believe big animals are not raised for food. Cows, and buffalos are draft animals while pigs and chicken are raised mostly for food.
Dear Zane, I highly recommend Taxas Chicken, the newest fast food brand in Thailand. Their chicken is really good and the portion is way beyond the price.
Texas chicken is actually Church's chicken from the US. The menu offerings are not very different from what you can get in the US so you can skip it unless you want to try the Thai version.
I had to laugh 😂 out loud watching your face after biting into the corn 🌽 pie! 🥧 I hardly ever go to McDonald’s but would definitely 💯 try it in Thailand 🇹🇭
Hi Zane! I subscribed to the new channel! Following you around the world now! Then your mom and I can talk about all the cool places you go and cool food you eat! Keep up the great work! Loving the new channel!
The only fast food I've tried in Bangkok were Burger King and Taco Bell. Never have I ever tried McDonald's. Pork burger and corn pie sure looked good to try next time I'm there!
What I noticed in my visit to Thailand was that the street food pork and chicken was better then the beef for the dishes I got. Maybe it was the vendor I went to that had lackluster beef but after having that beef and not like it over the pork I just stuck with pork everywhere and dabbled with the chicken every once in a while.
From what I understand McDonalds in other countries is much better than in the US. I don’t eat McDonalds in the states and have not had a desire to in other countries (prob since I just don’t like it in the states), but it was so interesting to see what a Thailand McDonalds had. How fun!
Woww that was such a big McDonald's meal! I bet you were stuffed and happy to try them :) Cheese sticks look so yummy btw 🧀. Look at that cheese pull! Crispy on the outside and melted gooey cheese on the inside. Makes me wanna get ones now 😋
You declined the most critical and delicious McDonald's dish in Thailand - the Mc Patongo. It's just a regular Chinese donut but they make it well. Comes with custard too. Sooo good for breakfast. I recommend the McPatongo, spicy fried chicken (It's served at McDonald's all over Asia and I agree it is VERY good. Just as good as Popeye's in the US.) and a side of rice. That way you have a mix of sweet, savory and spicy, plus the rice to offset the grease of the chicken.
McDonald's in the USA used to sell hot wings but unfortunately, it didn't sell well so they took it off the menu. I actually like the hot wings at McDonalds.
Yeah those were really good I notice they get rid of everything good like the mcrib mcflurry and they had chicken tenders hot spicy that were really good...
McDonalds used to be cheap, even in the states, but it no longer is. It's still "seen" as the cheap junk food place when you're poor and need to fill your belly. But it hasnt been that way in decades. Here in Sweden too, McDonalds is more expensive than home cooking or even some restaurants. But quality is still absolute trash, with half-uncooked gray patties barely microwaved rather than grilled. It makes no sense. Before, it used to make sense, because trash food but cheap = there's SOME purpose to it. Now, expensive and trash. Zero purpose to go there. Difference being in Asia, because of the population density, if a mcdonalds has terrible quality, they simply get outcompeted in a week, so they MUST care about quality. In less populated western cities, if a mcdonalds is trash, there's barely any alternatives anyway, so they dont have any incentive to improve. 6:30 yeah here in Sweden that order would be like $20
Can you try "Kao-mun-kai-zapp" it's mean chicken and rice mix thai seasoning Powder you can order in Thai Mc'Donald Kao = Rice Mun = Oil Kai = Chicken Zapp=yummy

They don't serve shakes anymore. 🥲 Strawberry milkshake used to be one of my favorite menu. They have lemon ice tea and McCafe, sometimes in the same location, which sell iced coffees and frappe.
Try the KFC, Wonder if they still have lime chicken and proper knives and forks? McDonalds is great for an ice cream while you're still getting used to the heat.
I’ll need to share this with a friend that frequents McD’s in Texas lol 😂 🇹🇭🇺🇸🙏🏻😃 What part of the USA are you from? (I grew up in Seattle, and have a house in Houston… besides living here too.)
Unless it’s the Wagyu equivalent beef that from the same breed in Japan. The beef won’t be as good at all. If you get the Thai wagyu though it’s gonna be pretty epic..since that was served during APEC summit as one of our national food items.
In this video, Thailand looks like Malaysia to me. I'm not sure how the McD compares to Malaysia because Malaysia has some of the best food but I'm not a big McD fan anyways.
At 0:20...hey Zane, if you don't like the way Thai motorbike drivers drive then just stay off the sidewalk! 🤣 It's nuts that you have to dodge motorbikes while you're walking on the sidewalk/pavement.
I would say most of Thai people are middle class and cooking at home are more cost efficient than fast food unlike in west majority of people here still consider fast food a luxurious food since it expensive compare to other things we can get with the same price I can live with 100 baht a day so if i gonna spend 412 baht on one meal it's not gonna be worth my money

Something common in the Far East😅. If they don't do this, they will get no customers.
