Currently, Bangkok has 10 mass transit lines - Light Green (BTS Sukhumvit Line), Dark Green (BTS Silom Line), Blue, Purple (Thailand's current largest mall at this line's end), Dark Red (Don Meaung Airport), Light Red, Gold, Yellow (an amazing local night market w/ a western vintage theme), Pink (a Muay Thai stadium) and the Airport Rail Link (w/ Orange under construction, Brown not far from bidding and Grey, Light Blue and Silver planned).
Bangkok in your video looks interesting! After you take your first bite of meat, you shake your head at the camera like a cute baby, haha! I envy you for traveling there, thank you so much for sharing! 👍🤩🙏
You should have tried the Shibuya toast from “After You”. It’s unhealthy but it’s the best toast ever. They also sell “Bingsu” in various flavors. Try it next time you come across. They have so many branches in Bangkok.
It’s been about 5 years since I’ve been to Bangkok. This Asiatique market was one of the highlights after spending the day visiting all of the temples along the river. It looked even nicer than it was 5 years ago in your video so maybe you just didn’t see it all. It was one of the places I have on my list to do again so surprised you were on the fence recommending it. Either way - thanks for the videos and happy travels Zane! Catching up on your videos to present day 👍
I visited Asiatique last July, Disney theme events was going on then. Its absolutely amazing, just a bit far from the central area. Ferris Wheel was next level
Thanks for the video! I had been thinking of visiting this place on my next trip in June. I have been to Thailand a lot of times but have never been to Asiatique. But after watching your video, tbh I don't think it's worth all the trouble and time.
Mate, Asiatique is fine for a tourist market but be sure to check out Jodd Fairs Night Market - at night - for a more local experience. Less like an outside mall, more like a market. Take the BTS to Asok station (Green Line) before transferring to the Sukhumvit MRT station (Blue Line) to reach Phra Rama 9. And much closer to Phrom Phong. That said, the river side is beautiful. Best viewed from a waterside seat at Jack's Bar a short walk from Safin Taksin Pier.
He did Jodd Fairs last year. I don’t even think it’s more local than Asiatique. If you want a real local night market, go to Sai Tai Center night market.
Sa wad dee kha🙏🙏 May you have a happy and enjoyable in my country Take care of you health because the weather very so hot in summerof Thailand Thai people love you💖💖💖
With all the mall videos you’ve done in Thailand, Icon Siam is by fall the nicest mall! That Apple Store, Starbucks Reserve with an amazing view of the river, there’s even a flagship Fitness First on the top level! Asiatique, not so interesting IMHO. Watching from Las Vegas, it’s just as hot here as in Bangkok, but not humid at all! Travel safe!

I agree with you. The walking makes us to get more fantastic atmosphere.

Was it too much of rain in July or was it dry sunny weather?
Zane, your vlog is very helpful I’m looking forward to be in Bangkok in July I’m very excited! Thank you!
i think a bit too early for Asiatique , it'll b lively around 18:00 . Iconsiam is perfect :) coz air-con lol.
Yessir! Airconsoam😂
I bet they tamed it down a lot for you. It doesn’t have as many chopped green chili as in the picture. 😂
Yes, Shibuya Honey Toast from After You Cafe is very famous in Bangkok. You should've got that.
Thanks for the video! I had been thinking of visiting this place on my next trip in June. I have been to Thailand a lot of times but have never been to Asiatique. But after watching your video, tbh I don't think it's worth all the trouble and time.
