@@805fillmore In Mexico there are many so-called Magical Towns, due to their cultural richness or that they were an important part of the history of Mexico in its independence. If you like, you can search on Google for "Pueblos Magicos" in Mexico.
Mundet is a brand of mexican sodas, the most popular one is the apple one, but you can also find other flavors like pear, kiwi and strawberry, tangerine, and I think apple and peach or pear and peach.
Watching from the Philippines. Lived in Mexico City for several years, loved it there! The prices in CDMX for McDonald's burgers are roughly 2.5x HIGHER than that of the prices in Philippines. Enjoy your trip there!
Sidral Mundet is a Mexican like Apple fanta or it's Apple taste and it's quite good when it's cold.I've been watching your videos man like them all, keep it up!
You are perfect for fast food restaurant advertising, your face can easily attract people to come and spend money, I mean it! In fact, it was the episode you were eating fried chicken in Taipei that attracted me to your channel, haha! McDonald's in Mexico is really great. They have a lot of products that are not available in my country. They are so rich and they all look delicious! You make me want to meet Mexican friends and travel there! Thanks a lot for sharing, super great job! 👍😍👏
This was a great video! I started watching your videos very recently. I am fascinated by Tokyo, and started there, watched that entire series, then watched South Korea, and now Mexico. Going to go back and watch everything you have out there. I love your foodie stuff most, but also thoroughly enjoy you just wandering in a city. Thank you for taking me places that I may never get to visit. (although Mexico City is on my list)
The choco roll is a chocolate roll, it is a pastry from the Mexican company Marinela-Bimbo and you can find it in any store, in an Oxxo, the mundet soda is an apple-flavored soda with juice, carbonated water and sugar, greetings.
OK, here's some info on McD's... Most of the fast food doesn't get all the American processed food, since it's more expensive than the fresh ingredients and labor costs are much lower so food is actually cooked fresh, big difference. The MUNDET soda is apple flavor, you need to go to an Oxxo or supermarket and try all the Mexican sodas, they are amazing, like the candies. The McFlurry is made from a Marinella (the brand) Choco Roles (also at any store and OXXO) you should try these too. Also, the ice cream machines always work in Mexico, we don't do all the nonsense the US does about this. This includes real HOT FUDGE which we love and sometimes we just order the ice cream so we can have it. KFC and Carl's Jr are far superior than the US. I can state I don't like McD's food at all...
Zane, i love your videos the skill you have with the camera and the relationship you have with the viewer so confident and so genuine it is authentic I’m learning a lot from you and you became an expert in such a little time. Congrats man. I’m Mexican but I live in London and I’m travelling in Bangkok. Love it ! 🥰
I think you should have gone to a McDonald's that was in an exclusive location, with its own parking and drive-thru service. I feel that there was a lack of variety on the menu (what you were looking for); in shopping malls, it seems like they don't take many risks and only offer items that they know will sell well in that specific location
Mundet is supossed to be an apple-favored soda but the zero sugar version of it tastes a little weird hahaha. DEFINITELY go and try to find the glass bottle version.
Sidral Mundet is a traditional soda in Mexico with natural fruit flavors and in 2002 it was acquired by Coca Cola with the same original flavor ... es muy rica!!! 😋😋😋 Bienvenido a México!!!
Mcdonald's around the world. Ah, Zane, my brother from another mother. Though my personal take is that Mcdonald's is surprisingly expensive and... like, not that much better. Love that you got to check it out!
Cheap restaurants (though McDonald’s isn’t cheap in the U.S. anymore) have a hard time not being expensive in places where food prices tend to be lower, accounting for inflation.
The McNifica is kinda like McDonalds' version of a Whopper, which makes sense considering Burger King only gained popularity in Mexico in the early 2000s, so before that McDonalds' sort of already had their version.
next time you should try breakfast in Mcdonald’s they have burritos a la mexicana ando also mollletes. You need to visit Guadalajara one of the most beautiful places in Mexico and a lot of fun things to do!!
You can usually get chocoroles in any latin store in the US, or in walmarts. I live in L.A. and even some Ralph's have them, they're so good. OH I've also seen them at 7/11 here
Mc Donald's should have more healthier options such as wrapping the burgers in lettuce versus those HUGE pieces of bread (so so many extra carbohydrates) another option is to have a sweet potato fry instead of a normal fry or get a small size fry. Lastly, yes, Thailand has the best Mc Donald's, I lived there from the age of 22-32.5. From the actual restaurants themselves looking like fine dining to presentation to the actual taste of the food.
So you were here when the earthquake alert went off, what was your experience with that? (PS: Whenever you hear that thing, run outdoors and place yourself away from buildings as fast as you can)
I think I get what you were going for with the video, but I wish you could've visited local fast food chains like Papa Guapa (maybe in the future). That would've been very interesting, and you would've been able to compare what they serve with the American fast food companies we all know.
