Raquel, you nailed it! Insecurity in a relationship, i.e. waiting for the other shoe to drop, seems to be a hallmark of my relationships.
What does that phrase even mean
Trust due to past relationships. We re-met after 47 years. We talk about it and we make changes due to our love of us. We are 70. Hard being a part time boyfriend. She is busy 3 weeks of the month. I get one week.

Instead of calling "it" by the name of "Love" which is very very traditionally generationally religious which meant and still understood as being devotional..
And today, people are more accessible of individual, independent, self immersive from private to public which expands definitions to the relative common constructive socially acceptable and manageable capacity for timely relationships.
So, therefore more modern and rational of compassionate utility and of personal necessity. Its more now of collective maturity than adolescent fanaticism.
