  • Having a quick look at the cooling system header tanks, then moving on to re-visit the worn out output shaft gear in the gearbox. I also fabricate and fit a new support leg to the front of the trailer. And finally, I refit the hand rail that I removed and repaired a couple of weeks ago.

Luv ya work mate, slowly gettn there keep pushing on 🤙
I used to work with a great welder years ago he would store all his welding rods etc inside an old style non working fridge to keep his welding rods gear etc dry, he had a 240volt 40watt globe switched on inside it was just the right amount of heat work a treat

Great to see more progress. When you said you were going to put the old expansion tanks in a resting spot I thought of all the stuff I have put in “resting spots” never to be seen again. I also thought that when a man gets a new toy how quickly everything else you have seems to disappear and before you know it years go by.😊

The art of endurance, lol, you can not do a lot in those conditions, so what you accomplished is a bonus. I have never heard of the rag drill bit anti chatter tip, i'm going to try that.

That leg will be fine. My brother used a landing leg off an old semi trailer on his machinery trailer.. Thanks for sharing.🦤🦤🦤🦤

Hey old mate another great video l live in Melton Victoria l know how much rain you people have had it's been all over the news and again yes you did tell people on the last couple of videos ago that you can't move the boat on public roads..
And the wheels and chassi is a great idea you can make a great trailer out of it, as l said before when I get up there would like to catch up

Well done to get where you are working in the wet. I have never been a fan of stainless steel fitted to aluminium. The aluminium acts as an anode unless it is insulated with some sort of plastic membrane. The screws I would use Loctite pipe sealant. Cheers

Make sure you use something like duralac to isolate and stop corrosion between the stainless steal bolts and fittings on your aluminium boat hull

As we say in Florida, if you mind getting rained on, you're living in the wrong place!

The new stay looks excellentvI suspect the supportvwill be winner you could also whack a massive wood block underneath to spread load. Love ya Water safety gear.
