Thanks for this, Sir. This is one of my favorite songs by Madonna. I actually wish this (HQ version) 1981 would-be classic were included on the track listing for Madonna's new album, Madame X (along with some other '80s and 2000s unreleased, unacknowledged gems). It would have been a great, poetic representative of the young, rebellious personas she references in the promotion for this upcoming double LP/CD. This could have been a song for The (rebel) Student or The Singer character. I also would have advocated the hell out this song being released as a single for radio -- and dramatized as a video -- in 2019...given all of the retro-'80s nostalgia/rebirth that's been going on over the last 4 or 5 years. This song was as strong (if not stronger than) as half of the material on Madonna's 1983 debut; and should have been one of the tracks on that album (placed right between "Borderline" and "Burning Up"...whenever I play the album, I always imagine this song in my head in the sequencing).
