I just spent 5 days in San Francisco/Sausalito area and I would recommend everyone to visit. It is stunning! Yes, there are sad areas in SF, but the people in the video make it sound like it’s all over SF. If you’re worried about what was shown in this video then stick to other parts of SF. I highly recommend Golden Gate Park, The Barbary Coast Trail, a ride on a cable car, SF Botanical Gardens, Hwy 1, Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Japantown, Cinderella’s Bakery….. Muir Woods with redwoods in close by. And so much more!!
Haven't been for 20 years but most of SF was excellent, definitely in my Top 10 if not Top 5. Even then Market Street was a mess, which if I remember correctly, had all the destitutes on the south side of the street.
Chicago is gonna become like that as well. Downtown Chicago we have a lot of homelessness and illegal aliens coming from Venezuela and living in the hotels with my taxpaying dollars.
Was petrified of SF before this week because of videos like this and news. After spending 4 days here, I am blown away by the people I’ve met and areas visited. It is beautiful here and the people I’ve met have been kind, chilled. Stayed near China town, visited Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate bridge, Japantown, Alcatraz, Pier 39 and Sausalito (personal favorite). Will definitely be back. Thank you San Francisco!
As a native San Franciscan resident, it’s true that the main city area and downtown are quite depressing and filled with crowds of homeless people and drugs, still though there are many parts worth visiting. It does though ruin my whole day whenever driving through the area and seeing all this disaster. It still doesn’t take away the beauty of some parents such as the Golden Gate Park, Union square, pier 39, the neighborhood districts and a lot of other parts.
I’m almost 70 years old and a native of San Francisco! It’s so sad because our city was not like this before the year 2000! Our mayor is absolutely the worst mayor we have had in the history of San Francisco next to Willi Brown! Thank you for speaking the truth!👏👏👏

The government has even sacked every staff member in hotels, so illegals can stay there and they hire immigrants as security. Yeah…. I would def disagree with this. As someone who lives in Deep East Oakland and works in SF . Definitely visit SF. Every city has its issue especially big city , but I would state that as someone who routinely works every day in the city this is not an accurate assessment. These individuals def just visited the tenderloin or places around the tenderloin, which has always been exposed or known to have an issue with drug . This can easily be looked up. Crime in SF has also gone down since the 90s and mid 2000s especially violent crime. Property crime can be argued to be roughly the same or has fluctuated up. Nevertheless, visit SF. Visit all parts of SF. SF is more than just its financial district. SF also routinely been listed and rank on the safer side of big cities.

Muir Woods with redwoods in close by. And so much more!!

Come here illegally, claiming that their country is oppressive, they struggled to find food and their lives were in danger.
Then when they’re in the UK illegally, our government gives them free accommodation, free food, all kinds of welfare, interest free no time limit on repayment loans of £1000s and give them money to buy clothes etc……Then these people claim the UK is racist, the free food they get isn’t up to their standards, the free accommodation isn’t good enough (they get 4 to 5 start hotel rooms free of charge for an unlimited a period of time), they claim they’re being targeted with violence when it’s them committing all those types of crimes and they complain that the £1000s the get for free every month isn’t enough.
The government has even sacked every staff member in hotels, so illegals can stay there and they hire immigrants as security.
The government is just after giving military families less than one weeks notice to vacate their homes and military base, because they need to house illegal immigrants there….Free of charge with no rent, council tax or energy bills of course, because the fighting age men are too oppressed and scared to be paying bills apparently.

Newsom's awesome base. A true leftist paradise...
Welcome to California and the mess Gavin Newsom has created.
"Get woke, go broke" doesn't just apply to companies. It applies to cities, states, and countries...and we're in big trouble.
This is a drug problem.
This has nothing to do with being "woke". Never has. But oddly, if people were truly "awake", this wouldn't be happening.
@@cetti4405 Woke policies is the cause of this mess. You don't see this level of city mismanagement in Austin or Miami
@@TomFranklinX I'm saying that the true meaning of "woke" has nothing to do with these idiotic policies. Nothing. The term was _PURPOSELY_ misappropriated. If you care to understand this, allow Bill Burr to explain it to you. And whether under your current understanding of "woke" or not, the policies of greed have helped create this mess too, which is affecting all of America.
@@cetti4405 Didn't woke originally meant "waking up to societal injustices"?
Greed is not a policy, it's human nature.

I was there 1987 to 1990 and there are nice places like pier 39, Nob hill, and Golden Gate Park but during decent weather in the middle of the day a good chunk of businesses downtown a fair amount of the daylight has very little foot traffic walking around with the exception of people coming from the BART and cable cars then walk down toward Fisherman’s Wharf.
My friend from California says this video is over exaggerating how bad San Francisco is, but it's still pretty bad. :/
This is what happened to the cities that submitted to BLM.
Partly agree but think it’s mainly a result of decades of being a Democrat election stronghold. Look at how cleaned up NY was under Giulianni. Now look at it since it’s been completely run by democrats.
And BLM went BM in San Francisco

When Gavin Newsome becomes our next president this is the future of the entire USa.
If that happens I think it will possibly be the tipping point for most people and start another revolutionary war a majority of people are getting tired of all this bull shit.

There’s a theory that these deeply Democrat states are turning their states into cesspools deliberately, so that those who can will flee to the decent areas, and dilute the Republican voting base. 🤷♂️
This is what they want for the whole nation.
And when you ask them why, it’s not because they want that. It’s because they are afraid to go against their own party. They feel very strongly about a particular issue and they feel like the only way for them to get their issue resolved is to be a part of the Democratic Party. Which means never speaking up against your own party or you will be disowned and they feel that means their issue won’t be resolved.

Is this the first city in the US this couple has visited? We just returned from San Fran this week - it's a vibrant city - stores are thriving, and dozens of cop cars are seen daily, ensuring safety. All this footage was taken in the Tenderloin district and is not representative of the city's attractions and vibrancy. The video is designed by two of privilege for their own agenda. Yes, there is work to be done - everywhere. Don't let fear-mongers curtail growth for the shops and businesses downtown that are creating jobs and continuing to lift San Francisco. Go explore and have fun!

Absolutely agree. The liberals that voted for all of the laws, taxes, and leftist politicians that caused that massive decline are now moving to other parts of the US, and they are still voting like liberals for the same failed laws, taxes, and lifestyles. So many of them have moved to Colorado that it is now a solidly red state with taxes climbing at an astronomical rate, homeless living on the streets everywhere: urine, feces, needles everywhere. And traffic that is getting close to the legendary LA traffic jams choking the highways and streets into an impassable mess. I need to get the hell out of Colorado/Commiefornia East.

In 2019 while on a solo trip to SF I was attacked by one of those homeless people. They aren't just homeless, they are also drug addicts and mentally deranged. It was traumatizing, the homeless person ran after me, cornered me, and was hovering above like he was going to strike me while yelling profanities at me. He looked like he was demon possessed. A young Starbucks barista was the only one to stand up for me, while the rest of the people ignored the situation. Its like the locals are so desensitized by the problem now that they don't care anymore. I swore that day that I'd get on the plane back home and never return to SF ever again. It's a nightmare. No one warned me, I had no idea how bad it was. Edit: And when I got home and told people about what happened to me, not many people believed me because all they remember is how great SF was, and how it's still considered a very famous and sought after travel destination. Please head our warnings, it's not what it used to be.
