Saw this early and I have to say I was surprised. Don’t expect an Oscar worthy movie but expect an insane movie with a ton of explosions and crazy camera angles and movements. Just a ton of fun and Jake clearly had a lot of fun playing the role.
When he says “I just wanted things to be the way they used to be” it reminds me of me and my best friend when we were little 😢 good times man, time flies by so fast

Micheal Bay never fails with crime movies. This was a good trailer. Its been a few years since I've actually had a MUST need to watch "this movie". Not even DC Comics or Marvel had given me that must need.
What would be funny but it would be piss me off too at the same time, is if most of the movie is spent on trying to make sure the injured cop doesn't die, and somehow our main characters and the female paramedic died in the process, the cop survives, and then the movie ends with that same cop shooting Tamir Rice. All that destruction and drama happened just so an innocent 12 year old black kid dies. I guess the message of the movie is don't assume that all cops are good sounds like a good message but that ending would still piss me off.

It’s been a while since I watched an entire movie without moving around, eating, pausing to get a drink and did I even blink? Need more real movies like this one. Just watch it.
I'm obsessed with the way they use "Sailing" in this trailer. The movie doesn't quite deliver on that tone of course, but it's still a total blast to see.

I was hoping a new The Rock level movie from Bay, and while it doesn't reach that... It's certainly better than some of his latest movies. Imagine Speed but on steroids. Great performances from the cast. It sure is entertaining as hell and a visual feast. And it's definitely worth to watch it in cinemas, the sound design is crazy, the Bank shootout reminded me to the one in 'Heat', for sure it pays homage to that one.

In those points the movie loses track on the story itself, and Speed focused more on characters and drama all the time so... No, it doesn't beat Speed in that sense, but it beats it in the spectacular chaotic visual extravaganza.
I don't get the hate for Michael Bay movies. Ambulance was AMAZING. I think Bay gets the average American audience. Black, white, gay, straight, man, woman, we are all just trying to survive in this country with too many bullets and not enough health care. That's literally what this movie is. Loved every second of it!
