- There’s a first time for everything… right? Such is the case for longtime criminal Danny Sharp (Jake Gyllenhaal). With the police hot on his trail, Danny believes he and his brother, Will (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), still have a chance at freedom. But when the critically injured cop Danny is holding hostage starts to flatline, paramedic Cam Thompson (Eiza González) desperately urges him to help. Danny has a choice: attempt to save him or forever have a cop’s blood on his hands.
Film Synopsis:
In this action thriller directed by Michael Bay, veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), desperate for money, turns to his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) for help. A career criminal, Danny instead offers him a huge score. But when their heist goes awry, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop and EMT (Eiza González) onboard. Will and Danny must evade a city-wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape LA has ever seen.

A fun return to form for Michael Bay. And this is coming from someone who enjoys most of Bay's films.
Michael Bay is not the best storyline teller, but action sequences are his superpowers.

The only good thing about this movie is Jake's performance.
I can't believe Eiza González was in such an action-packed movie, I grew up watching her in a mexican telenovela called "Lola Érase una Vez", now look at her, talking perfect english and being an amazing Hollywood actress.
She was in Godzilla vs Kong 2021.
