@ Yeah, it was mid-way through the series or so, when Settled noticed the new spawn point (which had quietly been added some time before in a hidden update) and realized that this made Hunter training much more feasible by allowing him to do green salamanders. There are no other net spawns in Morytania (at least not at the time of the series), and being able to bare-hand catch high-leveled overworld implings was crucial later in the series.

Also, if you REALLY want to never get spoiled by other people, you could always install the Entity Hider plugin, and only hide the players. It would definitely make the world emptier, but that's the only way to really prevent people from spoiling where to go. There's not a lot of areas where this is a huge problem tbh, only in a few maze-type areas.
Darkness of Hallowvale lets gooooooooo. For a long time I considered this quest my favorite quest. Loving this series, watched the entire thing over the course of 2 weeks, keep it up man this is great! Also watching you struggle to find that floorboard for 10 minutes was painful lmao
A simple remark on my part. You spend to much time agressivly right clicking to find things to examine instead of examining things to find something to right click. Calmly hovering the mouse can be better than frantikly right clicking everywhere, you often blunder because you don't register what you right-click
When I first discovered this series, this was the first quest that came to mind. The tedious navigation through this monochrome maze of a city in utter despair really bums me out, even when clicking blue with quest helper, so I can only imagine the pain you endured. I'm glad you happened to have that knife on hand! Can't wait to see the rest XD

Honestly huge congratulations on making it through that maze without a guide. It legitimately almost made me crash out and quit questing even with bright blue quest helped lines showing the way.
I think for the sake of future maze delving adventures, you should allow yourself to use the tile marker plugging as long as you mark your own tiles, think of it like using chalk on a maze to remember where you came from. Great video!
This was one of my favourite quests back in the day... played it almost on release so was pretty much unguided myself, so thanks for the nostalgia hit!
I figured the maze would not actually be that big of a deal compared to what you have already gone through. it's a long series of various obstacles to overcome, but it's also all localized. It took you around 20 minutes the first time, and I'd guess you'll get it again in less than 5 now. At least it's not random unmarked planks that you have to click on with no indication of there being anything in the area
i did this quest on mobile with no guides and it was PAINFUL. Hovering over the screen with a mouse is incredibly useful for this point-and-click game and particularly this one quest
Definitely recommend the “entity hider” plug-in. Though that does remove some fun if we see you randomly and want to say hello. Also, using a guide, it took me like 2 hours to get to the hideout. I can’t help but imagine how painful it was for you without one. Lololol
You don't need to right click on everything to see what has additional options. Most things will show their additional options in the top right, so you can just mouse over everything looking for changes in the top right.
I've been waiting to catch him this quick for ages. I always check around his schedule, then catch it half an hour or a few hours after it comes out; this time, I finally caught the notification instantly.
For me, questing was the worst part of the game and I felt locked out of mid-end game content because I hated questing, following guides etc. This series really changed my outlook. When I started watching this series I saw you do basic quests I knew, then you got ahead. I watched you do quests then I'd go do em. Now, with quest helper plugin, I'm nearing the questcape, and have seen so much more of the game. Cheers mate!
Instead of right clicking everything looking for and interaction, try hovering over everything and pay attention to the top left of your screen. It will tell if there is hidden options and something you can directly interact with like attack or climb. If you don’t right click something perfectly you’ll miss it every time. I can’t wait for the next episode ❤️
I remember when I was a teenager I felt like such a clever person for figuring out smaller quests like Prince Ali Rescue or Ghosts Ahoy and help strangers do them too. Later on as an adult in OSRS even with a guide in hand I could barely find the maze to get to the hideout. Good on ya my guy.
You have been hypnotized like the rest of us. Hereafter you will never quit; only take breaks. Enjoy the highs and lows, there will he plenty of both. GG
Iirc, the jump from the boat to the wall (and almost every interactable scenery for the maze) used to have no default left-click option and had to be right-clicked to interact with them, so from the very start when you had to jump to the wall it primed you look out for every subsequent interactable scenery in the same way, which is how people were clued into it on release day.
Watching what other players do and tracing their steps absolutely is fair unguided game - that’s how I played the game when I first started as a kid, one of the coolest parts of this game to this day.
Oh look, another one of Mod Tytn's contributions to the game. You can tell because it frustrates players! Shilo Village, Jungle Potion, One Small Favour (keen to see you do this quest...), Tourist Trap are all his. I think he loved his point and click games.
oh damn, didn't realise those were all one Mod lol. Shilo village flashbacks bring me fear. Thanks so much again for the donation, really really appreciate the support
why? literality slower than fairyrings by several minutes. He was in the middle of meiryditch, not at burge de rott. Even if you're at burge de rott, still faster to go fairy rings.
It's criminal that Jagex expects you to have a knife on you all the way at the end of the maze. There is no knife spawns nearby. You're just supposed to know. It's like you need a set of random tools to bring along to every quest like knife, rope, axe, pickaxe etc for those cases where Jagex says "fuck you" Atleast the newer quests provide nearby spawns or relevant one-time teleports. But these older ones are complete cock&ball torture
Hey man love the vids! Was wondering what you think of my idea: recreate the opening shot of your player character in gear relating to the current quest, then just skip the roll the intro part and get right into the action. No worries either way just wanted to share, thanks for making this series!
I remember doing this one back in the og days because I thought the Ivandis Flail was the coolest item in game, and this is a textbook Meiyerditch experience.
If you really want to hide other players, you can enable the entity hider plugin and change the settings to all. However I would not judge you if you chose to continue playing as is. Still loving the series, can't wait to see you finish the vampire line!❤
28:30 To be fair, I found it apparent enough that you had to go to that building since it was the only other building that shows on the minimap 😂 The maze is a pain but tbh I think it adds to the atmosphere of the quest, just like underground pass
I remember doing quest on release in the main game, before guides were out. Everyone was confused. We were just following where people were disappearing. The first step where are stuck was the most confusing.
I love how we get 38:00 Glorious minutes of the first 3rd of the quest from Alien Food, while other OSRS youtubers literally just hard-cut to "Okay, I finished the quest" in 5 seconds.
It was painful navigating the hellmaze Meiyerditch with neat lines guiding me drawn on the floor. I can't imagine the suffering I'm about to witness.
Never did I imagine that getting down from the wall into actual Meiyerditch proper would be the first real challenge...

Brother taking on this quest without quest helper is masochism re imagined. Bless you.
You don't need to right click on everything to see what has additional options. Most things will show their additional options in the top right, so you can just mouse over everything looking for changes in the top right.
bro it was uploaded SECONDS ago and theres people here already
I've been waiting to catch him this quick for ages. I always check around his schedule, then catch it half an hour or a few hours after it comes out; this time, I finally caught the notification instantly.
Sorry I’m so late
I picked the right time to check my phone at work. so hyped
It's like a drop party for dopamine
Howdy
I just started watching last week and caught up yesterday, so this was much needed!
When I started watching this series I was doing this quest line, and I couldn’t wait for you to take this shit on
only just caught up with this series, and a new episode comes out, good timing on my part!
Half the episode was getting over that wall, this is peak unguided content!
What a great ending for this vid lol. Can't wait to see more!
This quest drove me absolutely insane, and that was WITH a quest guide from the wiki
This has become my favourite osrs series beating settled just
I remember when I was a teenager I felt like such a clever person for figuring out smaller quests like Prince Ali Rescue or Ghosts Ahoy and help strangers do them too. Later on as an adult in OSRS even with a guide in hand I could barely find the maze to get to the hideout. Good on ya my guy.
That hellish maze is such a pain lol. Gotta say i love the video title 🤣
Ain't luck you brought the knife. You've gotten so much better at the game!
Iam so happy seeing a new video from you!❤
I can't wait until you get to high level quests, ones I haven't done yet. It'll be fun watching you go.
Watching what other players do and tracing their steps absolutely is fair unguided game - that’s how I played the game when I first started as a kid, one of the coolest parts of this game to this day.
Back to back purples in two solo toa raids today and an Alien Food video, today's a good day
You're gonna have fun with this quest line!!!
“That’s a person!” (Cut to cliffhanger)
I don’t know why but that cracked me up.
You're killing it! Keep on pushing.
No other artist I wait for to upload!!!! LOVE U!!!
Another trick to get to Drezel during this quest is to do a Temple Trek, since doing one successfully brings you right to Paterdomus.
why? literality slower than fairyrings by several minutes. He was in the middle of meiryditch, not at burge de rott. Even if you're at burge de rott, still faster to go fairy rings.
It's criminal that Jagex expects you to have a knife on you all the way at the end of the maze. There is no knife spawns nearby. You're just supposed to know. It's like you need a set of random tools to bring along to every quest like knife, rope, axe, pickaxe etc for those cases where Jagex says "fuck you"
Atleast the newer quests provide nearby spawns or relevant one-time teleports. But these older ones are complete cock&ball torture
Hey man love the vids! Was wondering what you think of my idea: recreate the opening shot of your player character in gear relating to the current quest, then just skip the roll the intro part and get right into the action. No worries either way just wanted to share, thanks for making this series!
meyerditch is such a cool puzzle-maze! made me feel so smart when i was a kid!
