anime songs are so deep , intially you do not like the sing , but as long as you listen to the song , and as long as you watch the anime , this will make you understand the deep meaning beneath the song , so you love it , we do not love something because we stay long with it , we love it because we begin to understand it .
@fire lord that comment from 3 months ago was when i watched the episode in which grimmer made his first appearance and yesterday i watched the episode in which he died. I'm sad :/
i am happy too , it is like a heaven in a hell , this is the only video that have the lyrics in english , i love to understand what they say in the songs , they are usually wise and deep words
“Yes, Search at what you can fathom from this world, Yes, Look at what I believe in this world, Make it home, To your land of harmony, Make it home, To your land of purity, Make it home... Yes... Yes... Yes... Yes... Yes... Observe of what I comprehend till now, Yes Accept as true the warmth of your heart Make it home To your land of harmony Make it home To your land of purity Make it home Yes... Yes... Yes...”
To quote a friend (whom I introduced Monster to), this song feels like wailing of ghosts. That's how I felt the first time I heard it 15 years ago. Now it just feels like a lullaby for me. It's a lullaby for cynical and old.
I realize this comment is two years old but it really resonates with me. I first heard this song also roughly 15 years ago and I didn't know what to make of it. It felt spooky and eerie, and made me uncomfortable. At the time, even the lyrics felt strange, as if they were just talking about some fantasy of anywhere that wasn't here. Now, I feel differently. *I* would like to make it home to my land of harmony and purity. It's a lullaby for the old and cynical yes, and where it once was disquieting it's now wistful and soothing. I don't think I have a land of harmony, or of purity, to go home to. But I hope that someone does, and that they make it there.
this anime makes me so sad .. I never expected that but Johan had no chance to be ... never .. not at any step of his life as a child and when he was shaped he was shaped based on a flowed premis that only led him to be more lonely ... not until the end we can see the true monster and the true misery .. Johan is always alone .. even his sister abandoned him .. it was just too late and he wasn't made to feel he is anyone to anyone .. only Tenma in a way! The only one who could save him was Tenma :(
monster is a glimpse of the human soul, a slow, reflective narrative, it must not entertain but make people think. One of the best thriller stories ever invented, the music of the anime, calm and melancholy only improves the atmosphere.
My eyes tear up whenever I think of Johan's character seriously, i really can't help it he is such a tragic person and he didn't deserve what happened to him in his life💔
Johan was a serial killer, a psychopath...He was pure evil from his early childhood days I find it strange that you have so much sympathy for someone so evil ( I'm sure this has to do with his flattering appearance...lol) I don't think Tenma would have had the power or ability to change him. The numerous crimes that he had committed can never be erased It is however very sad that he was brought up in Kinderheim 511 unlike his twin sister who was sent in a good orphanage....Johan was the subject of numerous experimentations...In this regard, he was a victim...Victim of those who had shaped him into the Monster/Evil mastermind that he later became
@@dodoraptor8387 He was shaped by the sum of decisions made for him .. primarily by his mother lack of love and care .. and yes I have empathy for him. If you have selective empathy, you are cruel. Doesn’t change the outcome of his life but it explains a lot why he was who he is and how. If you can’t recognize his tragic childhood and that he was made not born .. then that’s a point we disagree on. Had things went different, I don’t believe he would kill. Every little detail made Johan and no one taught him better. Would you trust the outer world if your inner world is broken and messed up by many bad bad incidents?
@@ABirdOnTheMoon I did say that he had a troubled childhood and that he was a victim to a certain degree Never forget that Yohan murdered all his foster parents and that Nina and even Dr Tenma seeked to kill him He was a MONSTER I bet that if he wasn't so good looking you would not be so empathetic...hehe Must be the blue eyes and the blonde hair...lol
This song takes you to an other deep world where you can see your full life repeating to an infinite loop....where you can understand the true meaning of everything you have gone through...

I remember when the nameless monster was inside the prince, contemplating on the tower whether he would feed on everybody and leave again as a monster or whether he would want to stay inside the little boy. The image of the boy prince really really makes me sad. He could eat but he was still so hungry.
I hope everyone of you finds their true love and cherish your friends and family. As its said Every saint had a past and every monster has a future. Love you all. Peace.
Perfect for Monster. Also perfect for a scene where 2 lovers are holding hands under the moon enjoying their last moments together as the zombies approach.

For me it's just sad and tragic... Like a lost soul, lost their way in life, and this song is like... This person is trying to find their way back at their home, their true self. And to find their way back, they must cherish good things like the song implies, they must learn to love little things in life again and hold on to simple things. I guess that's the message, I like to think this is for Johan in a certain way

Monster is a masterpiece. It seldom gives jumpscares or any creepy scenes, but it has that vibe that makes us scared. Johan is real and around us.
Sadly they don't make it like this nowadays. Now it's all about the soyboy romance shit
