I am a teacher and my channel will show you how to metal detect for beginners all the way through advanced techniques for metal detectorists. I am the owner of a Minelab Safari Metal Detector, a Garrett AT Pro (at pro metal detector youtube), a WOT coil and I can teach you how to recover the deepest of targets with a metal detector. My metal detecting finds include many gold and platinum rings and early American coins as well as British Colonial coins and Spanish Colonial Coins. Metal detecting is a hobby that millions of people around the world do. All you need to try is a metal detector some batteries, a digging tool and some patience. My first metal detector cost 30 dollars at BJ's and I dug enough signals to buy my first "real" metal detector with the change that I found with the 30 dollar toy model. I decided to start Metal detecting on UA-cam because I feel the need to teach what I know. It has been a life changing activity for me and I want to share what I know. It is my hope that Metal Detecting NYC can become one of the biggest metal detecting youtube channels. My beach instructional videos include (or will include soon) , "metal detecting dry sand", (choosing a) "metal detecting sand scoop" and "surf hunting". On land, I use the website historic aerials to survey the history of a site so that I can continue metal detecting old homesites and other places with a lot of history. I have a question how do you clean the crap off the coins especially from the beach
Soak them in some vinegar for a short time then rinse with fresh water. Don’t mix copper and silver coins in the vinegar.

Usually high . But it depends on how thick/thin or large/small. Most treasure detectors are calibrated for coin sized objects.

if i was you ill be looking at all the silver coins some or worth a lot of money and there some is worth hundreds thousands you never know what you get but silver coins or good to look for tho and the old penny i just got 1958 and it worth $400+ i was so happy to get it it was in my change

Hey Merrill, 1st thanks for sharing,I'm just starting to look at metal detectors. I want to use one searching for gold (Sierra-Nevada mountains Cali.) checking glory-holes and formation layers from when the mountains were building themselves. Mostly I want to get away from the river and the people. Believe it or not, if you're on public land here and some of the ruder ones see you find a little nothing at all they send their kids over to pile up on you. Unprotected of coarse. 5 minutes later half a dozen adults invade. I'm talking so close a girl grabbed my belt to pull herself up with her pan of top soil and leaves.
Anyway bro, check out a youtube video Emergent airlines, (only planes in the middle east right now.
They are using the misting set up like at the fair in the summer time filled with ethanol. You have to have proof you've been tested and they test you again at the airport, but the king offers free insurence, You get the virus using his airlines he's got all your bills covered. My wife is in 3 of the high risk groups, know exactly what you're talking about afraid to bring it home. I'm cooking sugar wash we used to use cleaning the glassware in the lab (it's ethanol got pin holed air line hung next to my front door) half a turn on the drum pump is a pretty good shower. Just make sure you cover your eyes before you turn that handle or you'll cuss me for a week. It burns, really burns in your eyes you know? Like peepee dance burns, and the 1st couple times I didn't put anything down to stand on cause Ethanol evaporates so fast... It's cool though, wife said she wanted the hard wood floors redone anyway. But it's working, feel like I can walk in my own home again after I need to go get anything, I'm still not letting anyone else in. Be safe.
You need a Tumblr to clean your queens up and anything else you find that you're going to keep just an idea you might even have one this is my first time watching just put my nose in there LOL
