Paul, good to see You're trying to prepare Ruby for traveling safely, and, preparing her for ANY unexpected surprises for her as she carries you on her back to your destinations. Doug🏍️🇺🇸🦅
Usually a pair of pilers, vise grips,I do carry a tire patch kit. Crescent wrench, cargo net,Nelson rig rain gear. Pants & jacket there.bungee cords, extra gloves, loctite, zip ties, groceries. I have Viking bags.probably the same size as yours.Walmart plastic bags & rubber bands. If it starts raining.you can put them over your boots. A good basic tool kit. The most common size wrenches & sockets.toilet paper you never know.
Wow think your bags are bigger than mine you got a lot of stuff in there you're definitely all set for a long road trip or a breakdown that's for sure lots of good stuff in there though good advice I appreciate it thanks for watching also
I basically carry similar to what you have , when on longer trips, I carry a tyre pump .. Also I got fitted a 90 degree angled air valve on the back tyre so I can get air pump easily on...
Okay cool thanks for letting me know and thanks for watching the video yeah I get paranoid when I ride in case something breaks down or whatever so at least this way I figure maybe it's something that I could tighten up or tape or zip tie to get me back home or get it to the dealer or whatever
Extremely smart to do. I have been stranded several times. But I have friends and a trailer. lol. Think of quick fixes for throttle cable breaks or clutch. Vice grip can double as a clutch lever. Zip ties can wrap around cable that’s broke and wrap zip ties around throttle grip to make it home ect. Should be able to find some good bids on how to do those properly.
