Loved Freddie star he was hilarious I grew up watching him. His elvis voice is fantastic. My dad took my mum to Blackpool they seen his show next morning went to a back street cafe and Freddie was there mum and dad said hello and ended up spending an hour with him drinking tea and chatting mum never forget how friendly he was until her dying day R.I.P. Freddie
If you by any chance saw a piece of slate somewhere on Freddie's grave that said, to Freddie Starr from Jamie RIP, that was from me. Also, those fake roses were left by my Aunt when we visited his grave. Freddie Starr is without question my all time favourite British comedian. He was so unpredictable, neither the audience or those who knew him personally know what tricks he would pull from his sleeve. Sadly, I never got the chance to see the man himself live on stage. His last tour was back in 2015, four years before his death. My late Nan knew him before he was famous, back when he was just Frederick Fowell. Both of them were born in Liverpool, grew up in Huyton and even went to the same schools. Not to mention some of her ashes are buried in the same cemetery where Freddie is.
Sorry, we didn't notice the slate, but how lovely your aunt leave the roses. He was a true comic, loved visiting him, just ashame about the weather. Thanks for watching
Freddie Starr Starr in name and he definitely was a star a fantastic voice specially his Elvis voice had seen him on stage and he was absolutely fantastic it's a shame what happened to his health thank you for bringing this video it was brilliant and very informative thank you
A naturally funny man whos life ended so sadly for him. I truly believe the accusations against him killed him. Thanks for sharing this Chris and Vickie 👍
RIP Freddie, I saw him performing at a theatre in Stockport late 1980s/early 1990s. I laughed so much my sides hurt for the rest of the week. Always missed. ❤🇬🇧
He was such a funny & talented man I guess we all have our own demons & I’m sure Freddie had a lot of his own He was always a favourite at home growing up & was well loved by many Thanks for sharing Chris & Vicky 👍🏻
Funny that you were watching him on UA-cam as my son has been sending me UA-cam links of Freddie Starr for about a month now. God bless him and may he rest in peace 🕊️❤
Very funny indeed 😂 so sad that he died a recluse. 😢 But then again that's probably what he wanted. Thanks for bringing this celebrity to life. Must say you both have a lot of guts to be out there in the cold and rain. 💦😱 Thanks for sharing 👍👍
So very true..miss people when they are gone Chris and Vickie..another belter of a video..sorry I missed your live..keep up the amazing work both. Love your Channel and appreciate all of your hard work. Keep on keeping on 😊😊😊😊x
"Out of all the famous celebrities " . . . Freddie Star always has me in hysterics, no matter how many times I see the Des o Connor sketch 💙 I saw him several times live with my Mum, at the South Pier in Blackpool. Thank You! 😂
We said this off camera, when you look around today we have no one like him on our telly's anymore. It was like a release for the norm watching these comics on stages and laughing with them, now it's just down and gloom on the telly with no release. Shame 😢
Just finished watching thank you so much you two this was a brilliant video you researched it so well, my late dad used to love Freddy, when he was on the telly I can hear him now roaring laughin!!. I wasn't that struck with him but I admit he was very talented with the clowning around and singing. It was a very sad ending for him for sure. Well done .👏👏👏👏💕💕
Tysvm Chris & Vickie. Being from US this is my 1st time hearing of Freddie Starr. How very sad that such a talented gentleman was accused of such things & passed away a recluse even after being found innocent. May he RIP 🙏🏻. Ty 👍🏻 💜
I love watching your new video today guys I can remember when my mum used to watch him on TV he was a funny guy 😊 my heart goes out to all his family x 😢😢
I sort of remember a shown where Freddie is singing with them, and I'm sure I've also read an article where they say that he was the closest to Elvis as you could possibly get. That's massive praise.
Yes, we saw them, and we see similar in nearly all the cemeteries and graveyards we visit. I think it's mainly down to safety. They lay them on the floor so they don't fall on people. We have read reports of this happening and where people have been badly injured.
We agree regarding his name. The family have their reasons and I guess we have to respect them. I think the majority of people who visit his grave would do so with respect, but it makes us wonder that if his name was on the headstone, could it provoke those who thought he was as bad as Savile or Glitter, into defacing the grave?

He looked absolutely beaten towards the end of his life. It's such a shame it ended the way it did.

We used to watch Freddie on TV, and remember some of the things he did very funny, man, and such a sad way he lived the last few years of his life.
❤
He had an amazing singing voice, he really could sing Elvis songs, Rest in peace Freddie.
What a talent and such a shame the way his life turned out and the way he was when it ended he was a broken man. Thanks for covering.
Thanks for watching 😊

Strange how so many funny people has sad lives.....Tony Hancock springs to mind.Great vid,so sad his life ended in such a sad way😢
Agree, when you look back alot do.
He was brilliant
He was Deirdre 😂
My mum saw him at the "Talk of the South" club here in Southend in '72. Terrific entertainer. Are there any of his kind around now?

The sketch I loved was the one where he was speaking in reverse and fast forward. 😅
Omg I remember that 😂
@@DaysofHorror 😁
Well put together video guy's, I always loved Freddie's sense of humour. He was one guy who never failed to make me laugh.
He was a 'starr' 😊
I'm 20 seconds in and I'm giggling my head off 😅
One of the funniest men alive during the 80s and 90s. Such a shame what happened to him.
@@DaysofHorror I had completely forgotten about all the Yewtree allegations.
even jordanierres elvis backing singers said freddie was the nearest in voice to elvis wat a compliment

@Vickie76 Sorry. That was not meant to be Ironic..he really was funny..sometimes I forget my own inadvertent wit !
Lol, no I didn't take it that way. He was a funny guy 😊
@@Daysofhorror-vickie he genuinely was
Love what you do but when you're in the cemetery did you see all the tombstones pushed over. God bless you both.

Most are like this now adays... such a shame 😮
So sad he’s name is not on his stone but I guess the family have their reasons 😢😢

I'm not laughing now. Poor Freddy 😢
Do you think his name isn't on there to stop fans knowing about it?
I think so. What we failed to mention is on his grave is an actual star wreath, not sure if anyone noticed that. 😊
@Vickie76 Aww I missed it! That's so nice 😊
Hamster, Cheese and Pickle Barm anyone?
Cheese and pickle only for me - thx
