Just getting back into playing sitar after 2 years off due to a shoulder injury. Really enjoying the methodical approach to the basics that I now need to concentrate upon renewing. It's almost like starting over again but I'm a pro gypsy jazz guitarist and teacher so I do know that a good solid technique is essential. Thanks.
Fascinating that Indian music also uses the recognisable octaves that Western music uses. Thank you !
thanks.. its a lovely channel..
Correcte me if I'm wrong, sa, re, ga, ma, pa, dha, are the equivalent of a major scale. But, do you keep the same names even if the first note is different. In other words, does sa, re, ga, ma, pa, dha, ni mean I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII or does it mean it's always Sa = C#, re D# and so on?
1,2,3,4,5,6,7 is right no matter what the pitch is.
Sir can you please show how to produce komal swars
