20-Minute Healthy Salmon Dish - Easy to Make and Tastes Amazing!

- A dish made in around 20 minutes, that’s healthy, simple to make and tastes even better! To make the classic wrapper for Papillote, parchment paper is the most popular. In the past the same effect was created using corn husks, banana leaves, grapevine leaves or even foil. Guests love it, when the wrapper is pierced and opened, a burst of aromatic steam is released for that theatrical moment.
The papillotes are quite simple to make, there’s no pans to wash and the result is amazing. The only disadvantage is that it’s difficult to gauge to see if the food is cooked. Usually, the best signs to look for are that the package should be puffy, paper turns brown on the outside and any liquid should be boiling around the edges.
Papillotes are perfect for tender foods like fish or seafood. You can add vegetables such as greens or potatoes, you will however need to blanch them first. Try not to overcrowd the contents or you will have leakage problems. That’s where most people go wrong. Larger paper is easier to use.

Made this for dinner today after watching it for the past 3 months. It was so good and quick! I added some chopped garlic to my spinach and served with rice. When the juices meet the rice 💙💙💙. Highly recommended

A really nice dish! A highlight for me is the use of fennel seed. You don't see that often, but that's great. Fennel seed turns ordinary peas into a delicacy. Definitely in LIKE.

My mother would use sliced 🍋 lemon on top of 🐟 fish(trout). I remember her using salt with egg white mixture and covering the whole 🐟 fish. I was just child and she has since passed away from cancer. Have a good day Joel.
I have to try this recipe! ♥️ I’ve never wrapped salmon in parchment paper before, such a genius way of trapping all those juices from the salmon. The only thing i’ve wrapped salmon in was puff pastry, ala en croute..♥️

Salmon, fresh never frozen, topped with Cumberland Sauce and wrapped in puff pastry...takes salmon to a whole new dimension, but I'm going to try this Recipe30 on 'Fish on Friday!' cheers!

@Recipe30 I didn't know you had salmon in Australia. I live in NW US in Idaho and Salmon is big here. What I also like is Steelhead trout ( a sea going trout)
I want to make this for dinner so very much, but unfortunately I don’t have fresh Salmon, so I’ll have to wait till I get it. Thanks for another simple, so very flavourful recipe chef. I’ve learnt the use of fennel seeds with sea foods from you and the combination is terrific! I just can’t stop watching your videos. Binge watch on them in case I’ve missed any. There is always so much to learn!
Salmon is what this fine chef had available, use the technique you don’t have to duplicate the recipe just use whatever fish you have around where you live like trout cod red snapper…this works better with big flaky fish so careful if you use trout as it may over cook, when I cook fish this way I like to add one big slice of tomato, one spring of cilantro or parsley and one generous portion of fresco cheese and I avoid adding salt to it because the cheese is salty..my point is use what you have !

I've recently made a similar recipe, but I made it with pasta+heavy cream and spinach sauce. It was bombastic😍 But as we all know in Bulgaria summer is knocking on our doors and our summer shapes are crying for a carbohydrates cut😆 I should definitely try your recipe, cause it looks scandalously good!

Bon jour chef, I've had fish made similarly, but it was wrapped in a large green leaf , and it was delicious. This looks almost the same. I'm quite sure it tastes amazing as well. Bravo whiskey...lol....merci encore chef!!

Joel my good Aussie friend, great recipe, we really like spinach, I know you said you can buy good farm raised salmon, but here it has zero flavor even if king/sockeye/pink/ etc..., has to be wild caught here & is more costly of course & funny story, we have 5 grown children & when my wife was with child she could eat canned spinach at room temp right out of the can, lol, craved it, nasty !, lol, Whiskey made his cameo, cheers mate
Our Tasmanian salmon is pretty good, the wild is only available frozen here. Like two different fish. Sure you're not married to Popeye? 😂
