The saddest part of the song is how it begins is how it ends. She sits and watches him....shares her feelings, goes on a fantasy rant about leaving, but by the end, she sits and watches again. Nothing has changed, he still only tolerates her but she still stays.

Really one of the best, most impactful, parts of the Eras Tour. Her performances of All Too Well (10 min), Cruel Summer, Midnight Rain, and My Tears Ricochet are amazing too.

Oh my goodness, you so need to react to 'Who's afraid of little old me' from her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department. It's my favorite song from the album, and it's so well written.

OMG. The Tortured Poets Department is so painful but AMAZING. It has her wrapping up old business. 14:37 The only way to survive it with your heart intact is to know she is happy with Travis now. There are a few sings that mention him. May the next album be a comedy and love story.
She’s going to drop Reputation (Taylor’s version) first… although I did hear people guy sing that there might be a part 3 to TTPD. 🤞
But if not, she’s going do rep tv to truly close the end of the era…

The live version is amazing! The person on stage with her is Raphael. He’s one of her dancers. He’s definitely a fan favorite. Everyone loves him; he always dances with a smile and energy.
Remember when your little child used to color pictures just for you and they’d come running to you and say “Look! I used my best colors for you!” while they’re gleaming and smiling so wide and just hoping for your praise and happiness? That’s similar to what I picture Taylor doing (in a sense) for Joe. Joe just kept her like a secret girlfriend and she felt like a prisoner (new album “Out of the Slammer”). He didn’t like going anywhere with her. He never went to any award shows with her and he only went to 1 Era’s concert.
He only liked hanging around with HIS actor friends, but not her friends. Pompous boy from London. He co-wrote a few songs and he’s currently making millions of dollars from the royalties. He made her feel insecure, unloved and lonely. They had trouble for the last few years that they were together before finally calling it quits - and it happened while she was on Era’s tour. She was seen crying during a few songs. On her new album, listen to “I can do it with a broken heart”. It will all make so much sense. Heartbreaking.
To see Travis stepping up and taking her to Coachella and into the crowd?! That was just amazing to see. He kept her safe, feeling happy and very loved. I really hope they stay together.

Songs from 'Evermore' definitely hit different after listening to TTPD.
She mentions in the song that he’s “so much older and wiser.” So, I’m not sure how it could be about Joe. He’s younger than her.

Tolerate It was written based on a book called "Rebecca". Personally I've never read it, but Taylor found it compelling enough to write a song thats based on the book. I do think looking back, we could draw parallels to j*e but this song wasn't written necessarily about him as others seem to say. I would love to read it some day though.

Indiscretions 😳 She was telling people then her relationship wasnt good. He tolerated her fame and took her love for granted. She dealth with being neglected emotionally and possibly physically. Sad. I don’t think it’s about Joe, because she says he’s “so much older and wiser” and Joe is younger. I don’t know…Maybe Joe could’ve inspired it and she just changed some details?? Who knows? At the very least, it does sound like what she was going through with Joe was somewhat similar. She felt caged, stifled, and unappreciated. I don’t think Joe’s a bad guy. I think they were just wrong for each other and grew apart.
