These videos are the reason I have a Jeep. I love the content, editing, and the overwhelming feeling of camaraderie on every trip. Please keep em coming, Eddie; these are a great motivator. Also, I've only ever wheeled manual rigs, so I understand the frustration of the orange JK, but I wouldn't chose an auto any time soon. Hats off to the orange JK; that took perseverance.
Who cares if theresn't not JL or JT because of a old video! The important thing is to go Jeeping with people with your same passion, with any kind of Jeep! 7 slots a way of life anyway!👍👍👍
@@wayalife yeah... Some fellas doesn't understand the real meaning of the 7 slots family! You can have the new JL or the very first Jeep Willis from 40', no matter what, you will always be a part of the Jeep Family! I want to include myself with my BU Trailhawk, even if I live in Italy, very far from you and I don't go so much in offroad😅 Always feeling like I'm Jeeping!
Oh man definitely brings back wonderful memories! I grew up wheeling that trail for so many years in my CJ5. Unfortunately, it's been 15 long years since I've been back up there. Thanks for posting this video guys!
As someone sporting a 2009 with 155k miles on it I dig seeing these JKU's instead of all the JT's and JL's. Keep up the great content, it is appreciated!
Great video Eddie! JKZinger here. Brought back some great memories when we lived in Cali. Made me text my old Jeep buddies there and invite them out to Arizona. Keep the videos coming!
I really enjoy the quality and content of your videos. I think your builds are great, but I do not think you get enough credit for how good of a spotter you are and how important that is to rock crawling! Keep Jeeping and sharing these awesome videos!
Really impressive and beautiful video at the same time. The location is wonderful and with Jeeps around looks even better. Thanks Cindy and Eddie for another awesome video.
This is the version of Moby that I used to dream of owning one day! Now I have a JKR on Evo coilovers and Dana 60’s to call my own! And it’s brought me across the country to some of the beautiful places highlighted in your videos.
Love the flash back video. I first ran Swamp Lake in my stock '77 FJ40 in the late 80's. This video made my arms hurt. No power steering with 31x10.50's... Now look at all of improvements in the rigs. I would love to run the trail again someday. Keep up your adventures.
I miss my jk. Never really got to take it down many trails but I definitely took it down through logging trails in the off season and don’t old abandoned dirt roads around my area
I live about 35 min from shaver. Friendly word of advice, as you’ve found out. Always bring a chain saw up here. Between the recent fires, the bark beetle, the drought, and heavy snow fall. There are constant falling trees. Hit me up next time your this way 🤙🏻
Love all the videos new or old!!! Been long time subscriber, setting in Oklahoma at home watching all the old videos. Be safe hope to see you guys on the trail.
After a long time we are finally seeing jk s Thanks for a good start of the morning Also congratulations in advance you are about to hit 200k 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 So can we see a special video on 200k SO SEE YOU UNTIL NEXT TIME EDDIE
It seems all videos these days are JL and JT focused which is understandable but it's nice to see the JK still get love. I'm still wheeling a JK and haven't really considered "upgrading" I hope you keep these videos coming.
Just found your channel thanks to a couple posts from the JL forums and watched a few of the Pippie videos. I own a (nearly stock, just put rubicon takeoff tires/wheels on) JL sport that I have just started wheeling with my local club. Love the down to earth content and have subscribed!
I love the shaver lake area ,grew up just south of there near kings canyon park. I wonder how that area looks now after the big fire that went through there.great video as always top notch
Swamp didn’t burn too much. Tamarack side to Bald is moonscape & the drive up to shaver right after the 4 lane is pretty bomb blasted. Shaver itself is fine.
Great footage. Funny to see folks with stick shift. Ahhhh, those were the days. Oh, I meant, uggggg those were the days. Lol. Unless you're running like 150:1 ratio (exaggerated) doesn't make sense to run a stick. But hey, I remember all the hype. I was a clutch guy for a short time also. But as I sit in my JLUR, going back in time like this makes me really appreciate the advancements in transmissions. Keep the videos coming.
If you would not mention it is „old“ footage, i would not identify. But it is calmer, nicer and really seems to be good times with lots of smiles. Your recent videos are faster and a bit more extreme. Also with more unknown people in your convoi. So this one reminds me what it is all about: having good times with friends (real Friends).
LOL - half an hour of good wheeling and the only thing you came away from this video is the need for a chainsaw! Because, clearly, it was needed to get by. You know, I bet you even actually thought you were the very first person to say as much. Tell you what, I'll be sure to remind myself from 10 years ago that one would be good to have. 🤪
Oh, that's a tough one... there's quite a few for sure. I would say that Makers or Bulleit as that's what most establishments will have on the shelf but favorite... maybe something by Michters. I like their American a lot but they have much nicer ones too.
Well Eddie, I must say, "about freak'n time!" Lol. Can't say I've seen all your videos but have not seen this or another one on the Swamp trail. One of my fav trails since I'm local. Can also tell you since this video was made, the trail is waaaay more technical these days. Have any of the Coyote lake trail? Also again spied some Dusy footage in there! Lol
I like the last part where everyone Cheers for the great day!! It's a heaven for rock crawler like me with my 1/10th scale BJ45😁 Ed did you consider to do overlanding with your Jeeps? On your current setup is it overkill for overlanding trip? I mean your JT? I really enjoyed watching till it end... Your lucky you have a place like that👍 Blessings for you and Cindy... RC4LIFE
LOL - when I was a kid, there was no such thing as "overlanding". We used to call driving across the desert and spending multiple days out there "camping". This is something we still do with ALL our Jeeps and I would argue, we are MORE self-sufficient and cover way more ground in comfort. 😎
@@wayalife Australian usually do that lol! i just finished watching your videos from Welcoming JL to JT..plus all the upgrades you've done watching 😁 they are my sleeping pills... i really appreciate your videos and maybe one day I'll get my JK,JL or JT.. God bless you👍👍👍
The videos I was watching before I could even afford a jeep jk of my own. Love these old videos. Keep them coming, if you have more.
LOL - That is awesome. We have a bunch. We'll see what we can do.
Same here. Just got my first Jeep (used JK). If I go back through my watch history, I'm pretty sure we can find a correlation.
Bro if this video was filmed today you'd have people saying "geometry is a social construct of patriarchy" and "math is racisms"! Haha! Great video!
Love the older videos. Have been watching your videos for years. Your videos is what made me get a Jeep of my own.
That's awesome and we're so glad that you enjoyed this one.

Using "Geometree" to clear the path. I knew high school math would come in handy. Excellent!
