Eddie and Cindy. Great as always. I'm 52 and finally got a Jeep that I wanted to have since I was 15. Got a 2018 Rubicon used but I love it. Bucket list is to come over there from Florida and see what I'm watching on your videos in person. Maybe one day maybe one day..... Keep you the great work. you inspire me daily. Just wanted to say thanks.
A great time as always and one we are always grateful to attend. Thanks to you and Cindy for all the hard work you do through the year to bring us along and, for including us each new year. Thanks to all those who we met along the way and of course, for being so kind and patient with our furry friend that unexpectedly had to make the journey with us.
Really happy that you were able to join us for this run and that you had a great time. Looking forward to hooking up with you and Jeremy again and hopefully sooner than later.
Absolutely love this channel. Happy to see another long form video and a new trip captured. Truely hope to own a Jeep some day and travel like this a see the nation in this way. Thank you for years of good coverage. I edit so I really love the coverage. I actually create Content for the Bayeux Vettes channel. A Corvette Clube here in Baton Rouge LA. Having some health challenges with M.S. so had to stop creating but in In-patient therapy and getting stronger every day. So in the hospital watching this at 6am. One of my therapist is a Brinco owner and I was telling her about this channel yesterday. Nothing like it. Thanks.
LOL - what's funny is that we came across another group that day and they were all Toyotas except for one Bronco. Not sure what the deal is but Bob, the owner of the one in our group is a friend.
Yes 🙌 I’ve been waiting for a video like this from you guys. I really enjoy and love your Off-roading experience runs with new friends and old ones. I was hoping to see some of your old buddies on this run lol I’m talking about Harris I think that was his name. Keep em coming your off-roading videos are my absolute favorite on UA-cam.
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video from our run. It really would have been great to have some of our old friends join us for it but sadly, many of them have moved on to other things and or no longer own Jeeps.
I want to come to one of these so bad! I live all the way across the country and once I get my Wrangler done up a little more, I want to come to a kick off run. I absolutely love that your kick off runs are always super friendly towards new comers and experienced crawlers alike. Here in the southeast, most of our off roading is on mud, snow, and beaches. It makes me happy to see that you were out there spotting people so that everyone could have as much fun as they wanted to have!
I love when you do these events … the obstacles you help people do are easy for you but the smiles it gives others is priceless !!! Good stuff !!! Thanks for sharing …
It was great to have you and your family join us for this run and happy to hear you enjoyed yourselves. It really was a great day out with wonderful people.
Man is sooo nice seeing more basic rigs out doing what they do.especially jks feel like the jk fell off and some many people have Jls now .love this channel been following for a long time and is the channel that made me want and own a jk today 👍
Very cool. I enjoy watching your videos and this trip looked like a lot of fun. I've loved Jeeps since I was a kid and I finally at 45 got my Wrangler Rubicon just before Christmas, after working up to it from Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. It is an absolute blast to drive. I've gotten it on the trail for the first time this week and looking forward to many more trails. Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration. Thank you!
Looks like a blast! I'm pretty jealous of you guys down south, up north in Canada I've been dealing with the cold, unexpected repairs, and a ton of maintenance work on my rig. I hope to one day have a chance to take my Jeep down some trails like those in the southwestern US - the scenery is amazingly unique.
My backyard....literally, i probably watched your dust as you headed out. The trails from Nelson to Searchlight are fantastic for people in the Las Vegas area to get away from it all. I take my jeep andkayaks out to burro wash and fire mountain cove to fish
I'm glad to see you guys getting back to doing the videos on adventures. Don't get me wrong, the tutorials are very helpful but really glad I can get back to web wheeling lol You two always do amazing videos.
Fantastic video, looks like a great time! I love the idea of this, such a terrific way to kick off the new year. I'm in the Northeast, I'm so envious of all the beautiful open terrain you have out west. Would love to make it out that way someday in my 4Runner to be the token Toyota, haha.
@@wayalife it would be an amazing trip, I'll have set a goal to make that happen. Also, I just want to say that I really appreciate the way that you always respond to my comments. I imagine you're quite busy, it's really nice that you take the time to do that. I'm sure all your other viewers really appreciate it as well.
Looks like fun, thank you for sharing. Planning a first trip w/Brother in law in March. Looking for any recommendations, thinking Mohave he has a Raptor & I have a F250.
Thank you for all of the great content. I was trying to find the video when you bought the 392 in Idaho. What is the dealer name? Really sock of price gouging and want some real pricing and none of this fake market adjustment junk.
This is the video I think you're wanting to see ua-cam.com/video/siJWI3ql9ZU/v-deo.html Peterson's in Nampa ID is where we bought our 392. Ask for Kent and please tell him that Eddie sent you 😎
What's up man love Your videos I currently have a 2021 6 cylinder Sahara I want to get a Rubicon next with the extreme recon package do you think I should go with a 4 turbo or the same 6 cylinder that I currently have in my Sahara
To be fair, I still own both. As to which I prefer more, that's a hard one. The JT is way more useful to me as it's a truck but a Wrangler is a lot easier to make into a trail rig that can take on the rocks.
The more I watch your videos and many other channels for that matter, the closer I get to trading my mustang GT and Cherokee Trailhawk for a new Willys wrangler.
Love the content! Keep it coming! I do have a question. I'm a new JL Rubicon owner. I'm planning out my build and was considering a 3.5" lift. I have all stock wheels and suspension at the moment. But, I do know I want to go 3.5" on the lift. Tire size, I'm not 100% sure. Would you think 35s to start then 37s eventually? Also, I was considering Clayton off-road kit or a MetalCloak. I'd love to hear your feedback. With any 3.5", any supporting mods you'd recommend if I also go 35s?
Typically, you start with what tires you want to run and then run the appropriate amount of lift to clear them. And, with 3.5" of lift, I'd say you really want to be running 37's. With that much lift, 35's will make your Jeep look like a roller skate.
You'll feel power loss but only you'll be able to determine if it's enough to warrant a regear. If you do regear, 4.88 will bring you back to stock performance.
Eddie, Cindy you are amazing, I'm a suscriber from other account (@itorija) from 2007 when we purchasse our Rubicon Jk Jeep, and your videos are amazing, we are from Barcelona (Spain) and next year we travel with our Sprinter 4x4 to make the Panamericana road from Alaska to Ushuaia, we are a nomad family traveling around the world, and we would love to meet you in person, it would be a great pleasure... What size tires were most running. I have a rubicon X-RAY, 2023. Would I have made this?
37's were what most people had but there were people running stock as well. In other words, you would have been fine.
How much lift is on that Gladiator of yours?
Hard to say for sure being that it's sitting on coilovers but I'd say maybe 5"-6"
@@wayalife ah gotcha! with 37s do you think I will need to regear? I have a Rubicon with 4:10s and I have the 3.6L in a manual transmission.
You'll feel power loss but only you'll be able to determine if it's enough to warrant a regear. If you do regear, 4.88 will bring you back to stock performance.
Hey buddy! Do you know interested in a LJ rust free rubicon with 98k miles?
I suppose it depends on how much you're asking and where it's located.
@@wayalife $27,500 and IN
For that price I would want some rust included.
