@@iSourCherry thank you for saying this ❤️ I contemplated deleting this video out of embarrassment or backlash but I’m so happy I decided to leave it up. Thank you!
@ Aww, I totally understand! I’m the same way. As a Black woman with a congenital condition, it often feels like the world isn’t made for me either. I get where you’re coming from-I’m emotional, too, and still figuring out the best way to navigate racist, mean, or obnoxious people without breaking down. Seeing you share your experience and vulnerability really helps; it’s comforting to know I’m not overreacting and that we do have the right to feel the way we do in these situations. Thank you for being so open !
@ ❤️I felt this real deep. It’s gets really hard navigating life in our bodies, so it’s only right that we release these heavy emotions in our own way. We need more safe spaces to talk about our intricate struggles, thank you for sharing some of yours ❤️🙏🏿
Hey QOD. I’m so sorry for your experience and I’m truly heartbroken by your story. It’s really sad to see people who have deep hatred toward someone because of how their hair or their skin color looks. Honestly, you’re so brave for sharing your story and I’m really glad I was able to see it. I can sort of relate to your situation. I was raised in Florida in also a diverse community. However, not too long ago I estranged from my family after they found out I had bipolar disorder. I also moved to a small town (Ames, Iowa) because I thought it would be a better experience for me as a brown Pakistani and it would be more safer. I have experienced a lot of racism here. In fact, it’s been a traumatic experience for me. I never knew how much racism was so systematically ingrained in the US. I can only imagine what it’s like in your shoes. I sometimes wonder also where else can I go since even my own family doesn’t care about me. Please do keep us posted on your situation and I hope and pray to God that it improves. May God protect you and be with you always. Always remember, you deserve the best in life dear friend. ❤️🙏🏽
I am sorry to hear of your plight. Unfortunately, we do share this world with negative, nasty people. We cannot prevent the way others treat us. However, we can control our reactions to it. This white woman is nothing, try not to take her actions towards you to heart - keep strong my sister and thanks for sharing.❤
@@piashadononfroy1261 you’re so kind! New Mexico is on my list of places to visit, would love meet up one day. I also just subscribed to your channel ❤️
Where can you go? Sacramento. I always understood the Sierra foothills to be sundown country. The last time I was up there I was confronted by Karen for taking nature photos. Don't cry move!
@@Howtomakegamecards funny you should say this because I experienced the most physical/violent racism in my life by a man at a bar in Sacramento 🙃 thanks for your “advice” though…
She was definitely profiling you and she had to save face in order to keep the store from getting in legal trouble. File a complaint and leave public reviews as a caution to other black people in the area.
I’m sorry that happened to you. Thank you for sharing.
