Love the looks of both boats. The drives on the gray boat are Bravo conversions ASD7's and are rated for around 750 lb-ft and in theory are massively inadequate for that much HP. I am greatly impressed if they are holding up.
Your Dads is the fastest. I promise. You can go faster if you change the gear ratio on the #6’s. Even the biggest prop is just slapping the water at 1250hp. That boat can hit 140-145 before it runs out of bottom.

It’s to protect it on the road. Before you put it in the water, you swing the back to the side so it’s not in the way. It’s hinged and has pins on one side

I drove the Arneson boat to almost 120. It is a complete monster. Power is every bit as strong as 1350’s.

They’re not conversions. The boat was built for the arnesons, and according to the manufacturer, they are built to handle 1500hp per.

Arnesons against standard standard style outdrives will always be faster all other things being equal. The arneson boat should be 7-9 mph faster

I hit 126 at 5100 rpm at ½ throttle. Engines pull to 6200rpm… it was in the Chesapeake, very choppy day so I wasn’t comfortable pushing any harder.
