@@senecapierson9092 Just my experience with my area but, I don't know of any equipment dealers around central Florida that sell retail. They always ask for my license numbers.
@@keithsuggs7935 Budget Heating out of Tampa and Houston both sell directly to people, with no license. There are also other online websites that will, and ship. Part of the issue is that most AC manufactures will not provide warranty unless a licensed professional does the install, so there tends to be no warranty then.
Be able to regulate each room independently So everyone can be comfortable Some of us like it colder then others Some friends of ours had these installed in their home and loved them But they had the hang on wall style We paid extra for ceiling cassettes

The a/c central units usually come from wholesale only places. The mini-split systems can be had for DIY'ers. Just a guess though.
There's several places down here that sell Goodman and Bosch central AC that sells to the general public.
