Such a great episode guys! The editing is awesome. So much to see and really informative! Those tunnels look amazing…..now I’m definitely going to Croatia on a tour 😊
love the episode Jim and Ingrid, as always some great story telling. We can't wait to check Croatia off our list. Question is, will it be on our boat or a charter???
Sounds like big plans in your future? Thanks so much for the comments. We’re following your passage posts-hope to cross paths with you guys this summer!
We hope to be rounding the bottom of the island in 4 weeks or so. If u are out in the water then hit us up. And of course September should be brilliant again.
It's interesting for me, as a croatian-coast born skipper, to see some misunderstandings, about the space and time, these guys and girls, are sailing through. And still, everyone is booking and going and sailing and having a good time and very satisfied at the end. :)))) Interesting. hehe Well, If you are interested in another reality in that space and time, while experiencing still, hidden gems. Well, you'll know how to find me.
Towing the dinghy in low winds; fine if you are lazy. But towing in 25+ knots of winds is very bad seamanship. How can film and show this on UA-cam ...
This video is a mess of footage thrown together taken from all over Dalmatia. Also showing Vrboska on island Hvar taking a video of an old abandoned house, and going that scars of war from the '90 are still visible is a total nonsense talk! Let me educate you - there was no war on the islands. Actually, there was no war on the coast of Croatia, except unfortunately in Dubrovnik and a few days of fighting around Sibenik.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. All of the footage was taken during our visit for the charter, except the 90’s news clip. The video is organized by subject rather than by sequential timeline as it helped better tell the story. All of the info discussed in the video came from locals we met along the way. It’s truly a unique and beautiful place- We’re looking forward to visiting again!
Those tunnels are so cool!
Great episode- Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
