The clay funnel he built to direct rain water coming down off that cliff above into his fireplace was simply genius!
The fire place serves a dual purpose. Fire place when it’s dry… clothes washer when it’s raining. A cave with running water sometimes. Brilliant!

Given the material of the cliff wall which is full of red clay, and the vegetation which indicates a good amount of rain, how long can a shelter like this last? I. hope it lasts for as long as you go there. Your skill and hard work have made it a treasure. There is also a lot of gray clay. I wonder if building a fire in it will harden it at all. I mean he spent all of 2 hours trying to cut and square a log with a handsaw but secretly switched to a circular saw(you can see the saw friction burns) than gave up entirely and than used store bought lumber where you could clearly see the milled lines in the wood.

I used specialized tools and small knives to help the pieces of wood have the best finish. I spent many hours doing it. Unfortunately I can't record the detailed process for you to see. In the video as soon as possible, I will introduce to you that type of tool. Thanks a lot.

The under bed heating system is farcical. I notice that even after he closed the doors, there was never any smoke. The small amount of material he used would have burned out for lack of oxygen almost immediately. Never enough fuel or time to transfer heat to the surface. And how do you keep critters or monsoon rains out?
